Pledge of Ridwan
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered
May God be pleased with them for their pledge of allegiance
This pledge of allegiance was known as the Pledge of Ridwan
Because God Almighty is pleased with its owners
He was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Sitting under a tree
Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih
On the authority of Maqil Ibn Yasar, may God be pleased with him, he said
You saw us on Arbor Day
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, pledged allegiance to the people
And I lifted one of its branches from his head
We are fourteen hundred

On the authority of Jaber bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both, he said
On the day of Hudaybiyyah, we were one thousand and four hundred
So we pledged allegiance to him
Omar, may God be pleased with him, was holding his hand under the tree
He pledged allegiance to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Himself on behalf of Othman, may God be pleased with him
Imam Bukhari narrated in his Sahih
On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said
As for his absence from the pledge of allegiance to Al-Ridwan
If anyone was dearer to the heart of Mecca than Othman
To send him in his place
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent Othman
It was the pledge of allegiance to Al-Ridwan
After Othman went to Mecca
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said with his right hand
This is Othman's hand
So he hit him on the hand
He said this to Othman
Imam Al-Tirmidhi narrated it in his collection with a good chain of transmission
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said
When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded
With the pledge of allegiance to Al-Ridwan
Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, was the messenger of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to the people of Mecca
He said: So the people pledged allegiance
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Othman is in the need of God and the need of His Messenger
He struck with one hand over the other
The hand of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was for Othman
Better than their own hands
Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir said
This was the greatest of his witnesses, may God be pleased with him, that pledge of allegiance
And God Almighty revealed about that
God was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree
The virtue of the people of the pledge of allegiance to Al-Ridwan
The greatest thing mentioned about the virtue of the people of the pledge of allegiance to Al-Ridwan
God Almighty said
God was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you under the tree
The two sheikhs narrated it in their Sahihs
On the authority of Jaber bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, told us on the day of Hudaybiyyah
You are the best people on earth
We were one thousand four hundred
Al-Hafiz said in Al-Fath
This clearly indicates the virtue of the tree owners
He was a Muslim then
A group in Mecca, Medina and elsewhere
Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad, Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud
On the authority of Jaber bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
No one who pledges allegiance under the tree will enter the fire
A number of polytheists were captured
When Quraysh learned of the pledge of allegiance
I sent a company at night to the Muslim camp
They were all captured

The pronunciation is for Ahmed
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said
When it was the day of Hudaybiyyah
It descended upon the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions
Eighty Meccan men in arms

So he called against them and they took them
This verse was revealed
It is He who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them
In the heart of Mecca
In the heart of Mecca after I forgive you for their sins
And God is ever Seeing of what you do
And in another narration in Al-Musnad and Al-Mustadrak with an authentic chain of narration
On the authority of Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani, may God be pleased with him, he said
So are we
Thirty young men with weapons came out against us
They revolted in our faces
So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed for them
So God took their sight
So we went up to them and captured them
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them
Did you come during the reign of anyone?
Or has anyone made you safe?
They said, Oh God, no
So let them go
And God Almighty revealed
It is He who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them

In the heart of Mecca after I forgive you for their sins

When did they get captured?
I said it appears that this incident occurred after reconciliation was concluded
Or a little before that
Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih
On the authority of Salamah bin Al-Akwa’, may God be pleased with him, he said
The polytheists are seeking reconciliation
So we walked towards each other
And we armed ourselves
You were selling to Talha Ibn Ubaidullah
I water his horse, feel him, and serve him
And he ate some of his food
I left my family and money to emigrate to God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
When we and the people of Mecca armed themselves
We mingled with each other
I came to a tree and broke off its thorns
So she lay down at her root
Four polytheists from Mecca came to me
So they started attacking the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So I wanted them
So it turned into another tree
They hung up their weapons and shouted
So we explained them as well
Then a caller called from the bottom of the valley
Oh immigrants!
Ibn Znaim was killed
He said
So I chose my sword
Then I stressed those four while they were lying down
So I took their weapons
So I made it squeeze in my hand
Then I said
And who honored the face of Muhammad
None of you raise your head
Unless it hit the one in whose eyes it was
Then I brought them and took them to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He said
My uncle Amer came
With a man from Ablat
He is called Mukraz
It leads him to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
On a dried mare
In seventy polytheists
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, looked at them
And he said
Let them
It is not for them to initiate and continue immorality
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, pardoned them
And God sent down
Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer said in his interpretation of the verse:
This is gratitude from God to His faithful servants
When the hands of the polytheists stopped them
No harm reached them
And the hands of the believers of the polytheists
They did not fight them at the Sacred Mosque
Rather, he preserved both teams
And create a reconciliation between them that is good for the believers
And a consequence for them in this world and the hereafter
