1
00:00:00,020 --> 00:00:05,019
What is the reward for intending to perform a good deed, or for actually performing it?

2
00:00:05,019 --> 00:00:09,019
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

3
00:00:09,019 --> 00:00:13,080
"Whoever intends to perform a good deed but does not carry it out,

4
00:00:13,080 --> 00:00:18,140
Allah records it for him with Himself as one complete good deed.

5
00:00:18,140 --> 00:00:21,140
But if he intends to perform it and then carries it out,

6
00:00:21,140 --> 00:00:25,140
Allah records it for him with Himself as ten good deeds,

7
00:00:25,140 --> 00:00:27,140
up to seven hundred times over,

8
00:00:27,140 --> 00:00:30,140
and up to many times more."
