The main purpose of education
The main goal of Islamic education
It is the achievement of true worship of God Almighty
That worship includes all of human life and its aspects
As God Almighty said
Say: My prayer, my rituals, my life, and my death belong to God, Lord of the Worlds
He has no partner
Thus I was commanded and I was the first of the Muslims
And the Almighty said
I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me
Realizing the reality of the world
If the human soul is attached to the earth and subjected to its refuge
She saw the worldly life as very huge
And the freedom for a person to live every moment of his life
But if the soul moves away from being attached to the earth and rises above it
She looked beyond it
She saw the world as it really is
The life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of vanity
She then realized that she was not worth anything in exchange for the afterlife
Are you more satisfied with the life of this world than the afterlife?
The enjoyment of this worldly life in the hereafter is but little
Human liberation
This is what Islamic education aims to achieve
Human liberation in its comprehensive sense
It is liberation from all slavery other than slavery to the true God
Free from all pseudo values
And the obstacles that hinder humanity’s advancement, progress and development
When this liberation is achieved
One feels himself as a powerful and powerful force
Do not adhere to anything other than the truth
It is subject only to what its Creator commanded it to do
Then this force creates in the reality of the earth a system that fulfills God’s method
While contemporary advocates of human liberation seek to escape human restrictions
With this liberation, he becomes like an animal setting off to pursue its bestial desires
Formation of a good human being
The process of forming a good person
It is the recommendation that was included among what God bestowed upon the believers in the mission of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
God has favored the believers when He sent to them a messenger from among themselves
He recites His verses to them, purifies them, and teaches them the Book and wisdom
Even if they were before in clear error
Ibn Ashour said purification means purification
To purify souls with the guidance of Islam
When Islamic education seeks to do so
It does not strip him of his humanity
Rather, it creates him as a person with human inclinations
His heart overflows with compassion for human beings
With all their human weaknesses
When he enjoins what is right and forbids what is wrong and strives for the sake of God
This is a necessary characteristic of him
He does this because he loves guidance and goodness for people
He does this out of love for God and worship
Not because he wants to dominate them and bring them before him to obey him
He is a balanced person who does not rush into an emergency whim
Because his mind prevents him from rushing
In short, he is a human being living to the best of his ability in the real world
At the same time, he tries to achieve the ideal
There is no separation in himself or in his world between reality and ideal
