A verse and its Tafsir

2
00:00:03,560 --> 00:00:07,650
Allah the Exalted says:

3
00:00:07,650 --> 00:00:13,650
"And if you are in a state of ritual impurity, then purify yourselves."

4
00:00:13,650 --> 00:00:19,440
Meaning: If you are afflicted by major ritual impurity (janabah), then perform purification.

5
00:00:19,440 --> 00:00:22,500
The term janabah is so named for this reason:

6
00:00:22,500 --> 00:00:26,920
Because it is a cause for one to avoid the prayer.
