Obeying God melts into the sweetest feeling
Piety
Piety is an area of caution
In it, the believer stands before the permissible and forbidden that he is confused about
It is the characteristic of the righteous
Those who, if doubt arises in their hearts about the matter of Uriba
Stop
And they said
Rather, we abandon what is harmful for fear of what is harmful
Piety means abstaining from harmful things, including forbidden things and doubts
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, combined piety in one word
And he said
Part of the goodness of a person’s Islam is that he abandons what does not concern him
This is a general rule of abandoning all unnecessary speech and consideration
Listening, pacing, walking and thinking
Means of external and internal movements
Piety is a sufficient and healing word
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
O father, Rira
Be pious and be the most devout of people
The servant will never attain the truth of piety
Until he claims every suspicion that might lead him to what is forbidden without him knowing
Piety is his method of action and omission
Some of them said
We used to leave seventy doors of halal food
For fear of falling into sin
Who does that now and the temptations are on every side?
And taboos in every direction
The reckless are few and the exaggerated are many
Piety cannot be achieved except through knowledge
How many people indulge in ignorance
His piety was like someone taking the wrong path
Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, mentioned this

He said in it
Perfect piety is for a person to know the best of good people
And the evil of the two evils
He knows that Sharia law is based on limiting and perfecting interests
Disabling and reducing evils
Otherwise, whoever does not balance the legal interest in action and omission
And the legal corrupter
He may call for obligatory duties and do forbidden things
He sees this as piety
Piety is one of the great acts of worship
And the angel of pious religion
And the pious and ascetic jurist
Based on the Sunnah of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
He will have his great reward on the Day of Judgment
A person should put himself in the right position in matters of piety
As Al-Awza’i said
We were joking and laughing
When we became emulated
I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get confused
And if a person becomes devout
Halal will not be lacking
No one should think that through piety he deprives himself
Rather, he puts a step between him and what is forbidden, which he stands behind
If he advances, he falls into the heat
If he is late, his religion and honor will be cleared
