blessings be upon him 00:01:25.299 --> 00:01:27.299 With planting and symptoms 00:01:27.299 --> 00:01:29.299 Pride took him to sin 00:01:29.299 --> 00:01:33.299 So he turned a deaf ear to hearing the call of truth and goodness 00:01:33.299 --> 00:01:36.299 Then he was driven by his devil 00:01:36.299 --> 00:01:40.299 So he tempted him to kill the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace 00:01:40.299 --> 00:01:42.299 He ended his invitation with him 00:01:42.299 --> 00:01:46.299 He kept waiting for opportunities to eliminate the Prophet 00:01:46.299 --> 00:01:48.299 Until he was taken by surprise 00:01:48.299 --> 00:01:51.299 The heinous crime was almost committed 00:01:52.299 --> 00:01:57.299 Had it not been for one of Thumama's uncles who dissuaded him from his intention at the last moment 00:01:57.299 --> 00:02:00.299 So God saved his prophet from his evil 00:02:00.299 --> 00:02:06.299 But Thumama, if the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, has sufficed 00:02:06.299 --> 00:02:09.300 He did not shun his companions 00:02:09.300 --> 00:02:11.300 Where he was lurking for them 00:02:11.300 --> 00:02:13.300 He even won a number of them 00:02:13.300 --> 00:02:16.300 And killing them is the evil of killing him 00:02:16.300 --> 00:02:19.300 So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, wasted his blood 00:02:19.300 --> 00:02:21.300 He announced this to his companions 00:02:21.300 --> 00:02:24.300 It wasn't that long ago 00:02:24.300 --> 00:02:28.300 Until Thumama bin Uthar decided to perform Umrah 00:02:28.300 --> 00:02:32.300 So he departed from the land of Al-Yamamah, turning his face toward Mecca 00:02:32.300 --> 00:02:36.300 He wishes himself to circumambulate the Kaaba 00:02:36.300 --> 00:02:38.300 And slaughtering their idols 00:02:38.300 --> 00:02:43.460 While Thumama was on his way close to the city 00:02:43.460 --> 00:02:47.460 A calamity befell him that he had not expected 00:02:47.460 --> 00:02:53.460 This 00:06:24.709 --> 00:06:28.709 By God, there is no religion more hateful to me than your religion 00:06:28.709 --> 00:06:32.709 Your religion has become the most beloved of all religions to me 00:06:32.709 --> 00:06:36.709 By God, there is no country more hateful to me than your country 00:06:36.709 --> 00:06:40.709 Your country has become the most beloved of all countries to me 00:06:40.709 --> 00:06:42.870 Then he added: 00:06:42.870 --> 00:06:45.870 I have shed blood on your companions 00:06:45.870 --> 00:06:48.939 What are you obligated to do? 00:06:48.939 --> 00:06:50.939 He said, peace and blessings be upon him 00:06:50.939 --> 00:06:53.939 Don't blame me, Thumama 00:06:53.939 --> 00:06:56.939 Islam requires what came before it 00:06:56.939 --> 00:07:01.939 He gave him good tidings of the good that God had decreed for him through his conversion to Islam 00:07:01.939 --> 00:07:04.939 Thumama's heart was relieved and he said 00:07:04.939 --> 00:07:10.939 By God, none of the polytheists are weaker than what you have achieved from your companions 00:07:10.939 --> 00:07:15.939 I will sacrifice myself, my sword, and those with me in supporting you and your religion 00:07:15.939 --> 00:07:17.939 Then he said 00:07:17.939 --> 00:07:19.939 O Messenger of God 00:07:19.939 --> 00:07:22.939 Your horses took me while I wanted to perform Umrah 00:07:22.939 --> 00:07:24.939 So what do you think I should do? 00:07:24.939 --> 00:07:27.939 He said, peace and blessings be upon him 00:07:27.939 --> 00:07:29.939 I prefer performing your Umrah 00:07:29.939 --> 00:07:32.939 But according to the law of God and His Messenger 00:07:32.939 --> 00:07:35.939 And teach him the rituals to perform 00:07:35.939 --> 00:07:38.970 Thumama went on to achieve his goal 00:07:38.970 --> 00:07:41.970 Until he reached the heart of Mecca 00:07:41.970 --> 00:07:44.970 He stood up and said in his loud voice 00:07:44.970 --> 00:07:47.970 God bless you wrong with you, Thumama?” 00:08:50.059 --> 00:08:54.059 You have left your religion and the religion of your fathers 00:08:54.059 --> 00:08:56.059 And he said 00:08:56.059 --> 00:08:58.059 I didn't 00:09:38.059 So he ordered his people to withhold the wealth from the Quraysh 00:09:38.059 --> 00:09:41.059 So they obeyed his command and responded to him 00:09:41.059 --> 00:09:44.129 They withheld their wealth from the people of Mecca 00:09:44.129 --> 00:09:47.129 He took the siege imposed by Thumamah on the Quraysh 00:09:47.129 --> 00:09:49.129 It gets worse little by little 00:09:49.129 --> 00:09:51.129 Prices rose 00:09:51.129 --> 00:09:54.129 And hunger failed among the people 00:09:54.129 --> 00:09:56.129 And their distress increased 00:09:56.129 --> 00:09:59.129 Until they feared for
