Summary of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah
The concepts of incarnation and union among extremist Sufis are of two types.
General incarnation, such as those who say Allah is present everywhere,
or that His existence is identical to the existence of creation.
Specific incarnation, such as those who say Allah is incarnated in some of the Ahl al-Bayt,
like Ali and others.
