This is due to the absence of God’s will for them
That is hypocrisy
While lack of sincerity in worship or work
It means the absence of God’s individual will and direction
The insincere person wants God Almighty by his work
And he wants something else with him
His work is not pure to God Almighty
This is hypocrisy and polytheism
The one who lies in worship or work is a hypocrite
And the one who is not sincere in them is a hypocrite and a polytheist
This is why there is so much talk about honesty in the surahs that talk about hypocrisy and its people

God has commanded us to be sincere in more than one verse of the Qur’an
God Almighty said
Say, “I have been commanded to worship God, making my religion sincere to Him.”
And he said
They were commanded only to worship God, making religion sincere to Him
He warned us of the consequences of polytheism, which is against sincerity
And God Almighty said
It has been revealed to you and to those before you
Because if you engage, your work will be nullified and you will be among the losers
In the Holy Hadith, God Almighty says:
I am richer of partners than polytheism
Whoever does a job, associate others with me in it
I left him and his company

The difference is between an act sincerely and an action that is not sincere
