I preserved a lot of knowledge from him
May God bless him and grant him peace, he described me as the reader of this nation
He advised people to learn the Qur’an from me
I was the head of delegations during the time of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
I was also the first writer of the revelation
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked me once and said:
Do you know which verse in the Book of God is with you is greater?
I said: God, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting
He hit my chest with his hand and said, “May knowledge be upon you, Apple Mundhir.”
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me one day while we were in the mosque
I would like to teach you a surah that was not revealed in the Torah or the Gospel
There is nothing like it in the Psalms or in the Furqan
I said yes, O Messenger of God
He said, “I hope you will not leave this door until you know it.”
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took my hand and spoke to me
So I started to slow down for fear that he would reach the door before the conversation ended
When I approached, I said, “O Messenger of God, what is the surah that you promised me?”
He said: What do you recite in prayer? So Amat recited the Qur’an to him
He said, “By the One in whose hand is my soul, it was not revealed in the Torah or the Gospel.”
There is nothing like it in the Psalms or in the Furqan
It is the Seven Repeated Verses and the Great Qur’an that You have been given
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me as well
God commanded me to recite the Qur’an to you
I said, “Oh, God named me for you.”
He said yes
I said and mentioned before the Lord of the worlds
He said yes
My eyes shed tears of joy
One day I said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
O Messenger of God
I pray for you more
How much I pray for you
He said whatever you wanted
I said a quarter
He said whatever you wanted
If you increase, it is better for you
I said half
He said whatever you wanted
If you increase, it is better for you
I said two-thirds
He said whatever you wanted
If you increase, it is better for you
I said I give you all my prayers
He said, “Then your worries are enough.”
And your sins will be forgiven
After the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
I was cut off from people
I devoted myself to worship and reading the Qur’an
When I saw people's need for me
I left worship and sat with them teaching them the Qur’an
I was the first imam to lead the people in Tarawih prayers
During the reign of Omar, may God be pleased with him
I participated in collecting the Qur’an during the reign of Othman, may God be pleased with him
I used to complete the Qur’an every eight days
A man asked me one day and he said:
I told him to take the Book of God as a leader
And he was satisfied with him as a judge and arbitrator
For he is the one who appointed your Messenger as your successor
An intercessor who is obeyed and a witness who does not accuse
There is mention of you and mention of those before you
And judge what is between you
And your news and the news of what comes after you
I lived my life with the Qur’an
Educated and educated
People knew my value among them
When death came to me
The city's railways were crowded with people
A man came from the desert
He saw the people of the city moving along their paths
He said: What is the matter with these people?
He was told, “Aren’t you one of the people of the country?”
He said no, so he was told
The master of Muslims has died today
