On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him
On the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
Whoever believes in God and the Last Day
Let him say something good or keep silent
And whoever believes in God and the Last Day
Let him honor his neighbor
And whoever believes in God and the Last Day
Let him honor his guest
Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim
This hadith highlights the importance of controlling the tongue
The Muslim’s words must be good and useful
Otherwise, I fasted with it first
The word is a responsibility
It may be a cause of reward or sin
The hadith shows that true faith appears in good morals
A Muslim guards his tongue and says nothing but good
He honors his neighbor and does not harm him
He welcomes his guest with generosity and cheerfulness
The good of society begins with good karma
Being a good neighbor and honoring the guest
