The Everlasting Deeds of Righteousness
The reward of the mu'adhdhins with their Lord
On the authority of 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'sa'ah al-Ansari, then al-Mazini
On the authority of his father, who informed him
That Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said to him
"I see that you love your sheep and the desert life.
So, when you are among your sheep or in your desert,
and you call the adhan for prayer,
raise your voice with the call.
For no jinn, human, or anything else hears the extent of the mu'adhdhin's voice
but will bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection."
Abu Sa'id said,
"I heard it from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him."
Narrated by al-Bukhari
