A verse and its Tafsir
Allah the Exalted says:
"Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds."
Makkah has many names.
Makkah and Bakkah.
The Ancient House.
The Sacred House.
The Secure City.
The Trusted City.
The Mother of Cities.
Umm Rahm.
Salah.
Al-'Arsh.
Al-Qadis.
Because it purifies one from sins.
The Sanctified.
Al-Basah.
An-Nasah.
An-Nassasah.
Al-Hatimah.
Ar-Ra's.
Kuthah.
Al-Baldah.
Al-Bunyah.
The Ka'bah.
