The Garden of Guidance. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: “Give the kinsman his due, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and squander not (thy wealth) in wantonness.” (17:26) And on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, whenever I see you, my soul finds delight and my eyes are comforted, so tell me about everything.' He replied: 'Everything was created from water.' I said: 'Tell me of a deed which, if I abide by it, will enter me into Paradise.' He said: 'Spread peace, feed others, maintain ties of kinship, and pray at night while people are asleep; you will then enter Paradise in peace.'" Related by Ahmad. Therefore, Shaykh Muhammad al-Shinqiti said: "If you take your child along when upholding your ties of kinship, such as visiting your paternal or maternal uncle, and his feet tread that path, you will surely receive a reward for it. Furthermore, your child will not continue to uphold ties of kinship after your death, except that you will also be granted a share of his reward."
