And remember Allah's favour unto you: How ye were enemies and He made friendship between your hearts so that ye became as brothers by His grace; and (how) ye were upon the brink of an abyss of fire, and He did save you from it. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations unto you, that haply ye may be guided,” (3:103)

Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, says:

"My love is guaranteed for those who love one another for My sake,

and for those who sit together for My sake,

and for those who visit one another for My sake,

and for those who spend on one another for My sake."

And on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

'Where are those who loved one another for the sake of My majesty?

Today, I shall shade them in My shade, on a day when there is no shade but Mine.'"

It is well known that the love and affection that exists between believers

is only a consequence of their love for Allah the Almighty,

for the firmest bond of faith

is love for the sake of Allah and hatred for the sake of Allah.
