In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammar Surah Al-Nour In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful And they swore to God their strongest oaths that I had commanded them to go out Say, “Do not swear known obedience.” God is aware of what you do These people who turn away from the rule of God and the rule of His Messenger swear by God if they call to it Their oaths are sharper and stronger Because if you command them, O Muhammad, to go out and wage jihad against your enemy, they will go out Say don't swear This is a well-known act of obedience from you that involves denial God is aware of what you do Nothing is hidden from him He will reward you with all of that Say, “Obey God and obey the Messenger.” But if they turn away, then it is his responsibility to bear what he has borne, and you shall bear what you have borne If you obey Him, you will be guided And the Messenger only has to deliver the clear message Say, O Muhammad, to those who swear by God Obey God in what He commands you and prohibits you from doing And obey the Messenger If they expose and reflect He must do what he was commanded to do by conveying God’s message to you And you, people, must do what is obligatory upon you to follow His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace And that you, people, obey the Messenger of God in what he commands and prohibits you Be guided and seek the truth in your affairs It is not obligatory for someone whom God sent to a people with a message Unless he delivers his message to them A message that shows them what God intended God promised those of you who believe and do righteous deeds I will appoint them as successors in the land, just as He made those before them as successors And He will establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them And He will replace them with security after their fear They worship Me and do not associate anything with Me And whoever disbelieves after that, those are the transgressors God promised those of you who believe in God and His Messenger, O people And they did good deeds They obeyed God and His Messenger in what He commanded and prohibited May God inherit to them the land of the polytheists, Arabs and non-Arabs He makes them its kings and politicians Just as those before them did this to the children of Israel When the Titans were destroyed in the Levant And make them its kings and inhabitants And to establish for them their religion that He had chosen for them Let them change their situation from fear to security They submit to me in obedience They submit to my commands and prohibitions They do not associate partners in their worship Rather, they devote worship to Me sincerely And whoever disbelieves in this blessing after that, those are the transgressors And establish prayer, pay zakat, and obey the Messenger, that you may receive mercy And perform prayer, O people, within its limits, so do not waste it And pay the zakat that God has imposed on you And obey the Messenger of your Lord in what he commands you and prohibits you So that your Lord may have mercy on you and save you from His torment Do not think that those who disbelieve are miracles on earth Their refuge is Hell, and what a miserable destination Do not think, O Muhammad, those who disbelieved in God that He would cause miracles on earth if He wanted to destroy them Their refuge after their destruction is the Fire What a miserable fate they will find themselves in O you who have believed, seek permission from those whom your right hands possess Those of you whose right hands possess it and those of you who have not attained maturity may ask permission from you three times Before the dawn prayer, when you put on your clothes, at noon, and after the evening prayer Three private parts for you There is no blame on you or them after them You are all over each other Thus God makes clear to you the signs And God is All-Knowing, All-Wise You do not have to do it except with permission Before dawn prayer And when you put on your clothes at noon and after the evening prayer Three private parts for you Because you put your clothes in it and leave your family alone It is not upon you, the heads of households, nor upon those men and women whom your right hands possess And those of your children who have not reached the dream A sin after the three faults They are roaming over you It means circling They enter and go out against their friends and relatives in their homes morning and evening without permission They roam around them against each other at times other than the three times I also explained to you, people, the rulings on seeking permission in this verse Thus God makes clear to you all of His signs, evidence, and the purchase of His gold God has knowledge of what is best for His servants, and is Wise in His management of them And when your children reach puberty, let them seek permission just as those before them asked permission Thus God makes His signs clear to you And God is All-Knowing, All-Wise If some of your children and relatives reach the age of wet dreams They should not enter upon you at any time without permission Not during the three times of shame, nor at any other time He also asked permission from the elders of the man’s children and his free relatives This is how God makes clear to you His signs and the purchase of His money He also explained to you the issue of these children asking for permission after they reach puberty God is All-Knowing of what improves His creation and other things Wise in his management of his creation Rulers are women who do not hope for marriage Which they do not hope for marriage It is not a sin for them to take off their clothes It is not a sin for them to take off their clothes Not adorned with adornments And if they remain chaste, it is better for them And God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing And those who have abstained from children due to old age are women Which couples do not covet There is no sin on them if they take off their clothes It is the mask that is over the veil And the robe that is over the clothes There is no blame on them for putting that on their male mahrams Non-mahram strangers If they don't want to do that for them To show off their adornments to men And if they abstain from putting on their robes and cloaks It is better for them to wear it than to lose it And God hears what you speak with your tongues He is All-Knowing of what your breasts contain There is no harm to the patient Nor on yourselves To eat from your homes Or your parents' homes Or your mothers' houses Or your brothers' homes Or your sisters' homes Or your uncles' houses Or your parents' homes Or your uncles' houses Or your uncles' houses Or your aunts' houses Or your uncles' houses Or your aunts' houses Or your aunts' houses Or you do not possess the keys to it Or your friend You don't have to eat all together Or scattered If you enter houses So greet yourselves So greet yourselves Greetings from God Good blessings This is what God makes clear to you Verses that you may understand There is no distress for the blind Not on the patient You people do not have to eat from your own homes Or from your fathers' homes Or from your mothers' homes Or from the homes of your brothers Or from your sisters' homes Or from your uncles' houses Or from your aunts' houses Or from your uncles' houses Houses whose keys you possess Or from your friend's house if they give you permission to do so When they are gone and seen So God removed the embarrassment from the Muslims They can all eat together if they want Or separate winters if they want If you enter houses So greet yourselves, one to another You live yourselves Good blessings Because of the great reward This is how God explains to you the features of your religion He will show it to you In order to understand God’s commands, prohibitions, and manners But the believers Those who believe in God and His Messenger And if they were with him On a comprehensive order They did not go until they asked his permission Those who ask permission As those who believe By God and His Messenger If they ask your permission for some Their business, so give permission to whomever you wish from them and ask forgiveness for them God is God Forgiving, Merciful What believers have the right to believe Except those who believe in God and His Messenger And if they were with the Messenger of God May God bless him and grant him peace Collects all of them from the war of Hazrat Or a prayer that you performed Or consult about a matter They did not turn away from their gatherings for him From the matter until they ask permission The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace Those who do not turn away, O Muhammad If they are with you on a comprehensive matter Except with your permission Those who believe Truly God and His Messenger So if he asks your permission, O Muhammad Those who do not leave you except with your permission For some of their needs that are presented to them To whomever you wish to leave They prayed to God to be gracious to them By pardoning the consequences between him and them God is Forgiving of the sins of His servants Those who repent are merciful to them To punish them for it after they repent of it Don't make a supplication The Messenger is among you Like praying to one another God may know who They sneak up on you If so Let those who disagree beware About his command to infect them Sedition Or a torment befalls them Painful Fear His prayer that you should do so Then they will pray for you and you will perish Do not make his supplication Like other people's prayers His supplication is positive You, you who have turned away from your Prophet Without his permission, it is concealed and hidden from him Even if the matter of those of you who do this is hidden On the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace God knows that Those of you who do this should beware That a trial from God befalls them Or a painful torment will befall them in the immediate future It is imprinted on their hearts So they disbelieve in God Indeed, to God belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth He may know what you are On it And the day they return to him He will inform them of what they did I swear to God with all A knowledgeable thing Indeed, to God King of all heavens and earth A mamluk should not disobey He orders his owner and disobeys him He may know what you are obedient to In what He commands you and prohibits you Those who disobey His command will return to God Then he will tell them Because of what they did in this world Then He will reward them for what they did wrong God has knowledge of everything You and others did it He will pay every worker among you the reward for his work The day you return to Him
