The dangerous effects of the temptation to conform to reality
The danger of the temptation to conform to reality is determined in several matters
Firstly, the worldly effects
This is due to the apparent loss of identity and the dissolution of the Islamic personality
Which results in suffering in his body, soul, mind and honor
This loss and dissolution become a source of curse, misery and unhappiness
Unlike the one who submits to the law of God Almighty and who is not subject to suspicion, lust, people’s approval, or their discontent.
Where you will find him nothing but happy and reassured, protected by his Lord in his religion, soul, mind, money and honor.
Secondly, the religious effects are more dangerous than the previous ones
This is because conforming to people’s reality that is contrary to the law of God Almighty may lead to the accumulation of transgressions and sins
Until you see his heart, and what is more dangerous than that is continuing to commit violations without denial or reconciliation
It may turn into something familiar that is imprinted on the heart and absorbs its love and permissibility, God forbid
Because the deviation may start slightly at the beginning of the path and then soon end in a complete deviation at the end
He who accepts part of the deviation cannot stop at the first deviation
Because his willingness to surrender to deviation increases every time he takes a step back
Thirdly, the effects of preaching are the appearance of signs of compliance with the servant, especially the preacher
He loses credibility with himself and with people, especially those who are called, and this may lead him to abandon the call and its people
How can reality keep pace with those who are required to manage and change reality?
Fourth, the afterlife effects. These effects are not hidden from anyone who believes in God and the Last Day
Whereas, complying with reality in a way that displeases God Almighty has exposed oneself to God’s wrath and torment
