A hadith and commentary.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner,'
“All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah; unto Him belongeth Sovereignty and unto Him belongeth praise, and He is Able to do all things.” (64:1)
'and He is capable of all things,'
ten times,
it is as if he has freed four souls from the descendants of Isma'il."
Agreed upon.
Commentary:
Maintain this Sunnah every morning and every evening.
It is among the easiest of the Sunnah practices,
yet its reward is among the greatest of rewards.
And whoever says it one hundred times a day,
his reward is even greater and his recompense more complete.
