A summary of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah.
The Qarmatians.
They are one of the Batiniyya (esoteric) Shia sects.
They branched off from the Isma'ilis.
And they established their state in eastern Arabia.
They blocked the path of the pilgrims during Hajj and killed them.
And they stole the Black Stone from the Ka'bah.
And they transported it to the land of Hajar.
Al-Ahsa' currently.
And it remained there for 22 years.
During which Hajj was suspended out of fear of them and their blocking of the pilgrims' path.
Then they returned it to the Ka'bah.
And they resumed the Hajj season.
It is said they did this after a peace treaty and agreement with the Abbasid Caliphate.
In exchange for them relinquishing the lands under their control.
And it is said they did this when threatened by the Fatimid Ubaydi Imam.
The Qarmatians ruled over most of the Arabian Peninsula and the Levant.
This was during the weakness of the Abbasid Caliphate.
They trace their lineage to Ibn Qarmat, the Batiniyya Shia.
Named Hamdan Qarmat Ibn al-Ash'ath al-Baqqar.
May Allah give him what he deserves.
Among their most extreme principles of disbelief is:
Deifying others besides Allah, the Exalted.
And attributing infallibility to their Imams.
And they are characterized by their reviling of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them.
And they hold blasphemous beliefs about Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
Regarding His names, attributes, and actions.
Allah is far above that, a great transcendence.
