Surah al-Shura.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“And it was not (vouchsafed) to any mortal that Allah should speak to him unless (it be) by revelation or from behind a veil, or (that) He sendeth a messenger to reveal what He will by His leave. Lo! He is Exalted, Wise.” (42:51)

Indeed, He is Exalted, All-Wise.
It is not given to any human being among the children of Adam that Allah should speak to him,
except by revelation, where Allah reveals to him as He wills,
or by speaking to him from behind a veil, such that he hears His speech but does not see Him,
or by Allah sending a messenger from among His angels,
who then reveals to the one sent, by the permission of His Lord, whatever He wills of commands and prohibitions.
Indeed, He is exalted above all things.
He is possessor of wisdom in the governance of His creation.
“And thus have We inspired in thee (Muhammad) a Spirit of Our command. Thou knewest not what the Scripture was, nor what the Faith. But We have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. And lo! thou verily dost guide unto a right path,” (42:52)

Rather, We have made it a light.

And just as We revealed to the rest of Our messengers,
so too have We revealed to you, O Muhammad, this Qur'an,
as a mercy from Our command.
You did not know, O Muhammad, what the Book was, nor what faith was.
But We have made this Qur'an a radiance for the people.
By this Qur'an, We guide whom We will of Our servants to the straight path.
And indeed, O Muhammad, you guide our servants to a straight path,
through calling them to Allah and clarifying the truth to them.
“The path of Allah, unto Whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Do not all things reach Allah at last?” (42:53)

The path of Allah, to Whom belongs the dominion of all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth.
Behold, O people, to Allah shall all your affairs return in the Hereafter.
And He will judge between you with justice.
