Surat Al-Shura
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
It is not possible for a human being to have God speak to him except through revelation
Unless by revelation, or from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger
Or he sends a messenger and reveals, with His permission, whatever He wishes
He is Ali Hakim
It is not appropriate for any human being to speak to his Lord
Except as a revelation, God reveals it to him as He wishes
Or he speaks to him in such a way that he hears his words but does not see them
Or God sends a messenger from His angels
Then that Messenger reveals to the addressee, with the permission of his Lord, whatever commands and prohibitions he wishes
He is exalted above all things
He is wise in his management of his creation
And thus We have revealed to you a spirit of Our command
You did not know what the Book or faith was
But We made it light
But We made it a light by which we guide
Whoever we want from among our servants
Indeed, you will be guided to a straight path
And as we used to reveal to all of our messengers
Thus We have revealed to you, O Muhammad, this Qur’an
Mercy from our command
O Muhammad, you did not know anything about the Book or faith
But We made this Qur’an a light for the people
With this Qur’an, we guide whomever of Our servants We wish to the straight path
And you, O Muhammad, guide our servants to the straight path
By praying to God and explaining to them
The path of God, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth
Only to God do things happen
The path of God, to whom belongs the dominion over all that is in the heavens and on earth
Except to God, O people, your affairs will be resolved in the Hereafter
He will judge between you fairly
