00:00:00.240 --> 00:00:02.660
Allah the Exalted says:

00:00:02.660 --> 00:00:12.220
“A kind word with forgiveness is better than almsgiving followed by injury. Allah is Absolute, Clement.” (2:263)

00:00:12.220 --> 00:00:16.920
And Allah is Free of need and Forbearing.

00:00:16.920 --> 00:00:19.519
Muslim recorded in his Sahih:

00:00:19.519 --> 00:00:24.019
That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

00:00:24.019 --> 00:00:27.260
"A good word is a charity."

00:00:27.260 --> 00:00:29.379
And among the acts of kindness

00:00:29.539 --> 00:00:32.539
Is that you meet your brother with a cheerful face.

00:00:32.539 --> 00:00:35.899
Some of the wise have said:

00:00:35.899 --> 00:00:38.899
"Receive the one in need with a pleasant countenance;

00:00:38.899 --> 00:00:40.899
For even if you lack the means to fulfill his request,

00:00:40.899 --> 00:00:42.899
You shall not lack his excuse."
