A summary of the concepts of the Ahl al-Sunnah.
Manifestations of intellectual warfare.
The intellectual warfare waged by the disbelievers through their doubts and desires has many manifestations and facets.
Among the most important of these are:
First:
Directing their tools to demolish the doctrine of loyalty and disavowal (al-wala' wa al-bara').
Upon which the oneness of Allah, the Almighty, and His worship are established.
Belittling its importance.
And raising doubts surrounding it.
Because the enemies of the religion know that loyalty and enmity based on the doctrine of Tawhid (monotheism).
Is the barrier that stands between them and infiltrating Muslim societies and influencing them.
Thus, they have never ceased to strike at it with the tools of demolition, obfuscation, and misguidance.
Among the means of their war against this doctrine are the following:
Third:
Denouncing anyone who displays a spirit of hatred and enmity toward the disbelievers.
Claiming that this contradicts the spirit of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
Indeed, some who have been influenced by this call have gone so far.
As to delete the term "disbeliever" and replace it with the term "non-Muslim" or "the other."
B:
Using the tool of patriotism and nationalism.
Making them the bonds upon which loyalty and enmity are based.
Rather than on the basis of Tawhid and the worship of Allah alone.
C:
The call to humanism.
This is done so that brotherhood and love may prevail among human beings.
Without differentiating between them on the basis of religion and creed.
Because they claim religion is a personal matter and a relationship between a person and their Lord.
So they claim.
And it has no place in determining who one should hold loyalty toward or disavow.
Because this divides human beings.
Based on this:
The importance of the disbelievers and their disbelief is downplayed.
So one does not express hatred toward them, nor mention them or their deities with condemnation or deviation.
And resulting from this malicious call is:
Reconsidering educational curricula in Muslim countries.
So every paragraph referring to enmity toward the disbelievers or jihad against them is deleted.
Also resulting from this is:
Opening churches and pagan temples in Muslim countries.
Under the pretext of humanism.
As well as allowing every sect to proselytize and call to its beliefs.
And demanding freedom of religion and the right to change it for whoever wishes.
Even if it involves atheism and insulting the religion.
Also resulting from this heretical sect is:
The suspension of jihad because it fuels hatred and exclusion.
Second:
Fighting the Salafi orientation, both in its scholarly and jihadist aspects.
Because it is the one that raises the banner of Tawhid.
And fights what opposes it, such as shirk (polytheism), disbelief, and hypocrisy.
And calls for enmity toward the disbelievers and disavowal of them.
In contrast:
The disbelievers work to revive what opposes the creed of the Salaf, such as the creeds of the people of innovation.
Like the Sufis and the people of extremism.
And those they call the "advocates of moderation."
This is to serve as a substitute for the Salafi methodology.
Third:
Raising doubts that invite major shirk, sorcery, and astrology.
In many books, magazines, channels, and websites.
Fourth:
Flooding Muslim markets with various types of furniture, clothing, and tools.
That bear the symbols of disbelief.
Such as the cross.
And the symbol of the devil worshippers.
And images of depraved men and women from among artists and athletes.
Fifth:
Raising doubts about the ritual of jihad.
And distorting its image and the image of its people.
Because what the disbelievers fear most from Islam and its people.
Is the spirit of jihad inherent within it.
And history is a witness to that.
Sixth:
Their distortion of Islamic history and its symbols.
The task of this has been taken up by some orientalists and hypocrites.
From among the Batiniyyah and secularists.
Because the disbelievers and hypocrites know that history for any nation.
Is the field of its pride and honor.
And a source of emulation through the great figures of Islamic history.
Among their means of distortion are:
A:
Fabricating reports and highlighting faults.
B:
Using the secular, irreligious methodology.
In research and criticism.
Which is based on denying revelation, prophethood, and the Last Day.
And they give no weight to the divine methodology.
C:
The erroneous, deviant understanding of texts and twisting their meanings.
D:
Relying merely on whims in the criticism and analysis of historical events.
And relying on fabricated and false sources.
E:
Presenting an incomplete side of the truth.
And placing the report out of its correct context.
F:
Making the reality of Muslims, which was deviant in some aspects in later eras.
The true image of Islam.
G:
Highlighting deviant sects whose innovations are disbelief or less than that.
And exaggerating their role and praising them.
Seventh:
Raising doubts about Islamic Sharia.
And attempting to exclude it from governance and legal arbitration.
Claiming that it is not suitable for contemporary times.
And establishing disbelieving systems and laws in its place.
Which are, for the most part, contrary to the Sharia, reason, and natural disposition (fitrah).
Eighth:
Raising doubts about women and their rulings.
And corrupting the Muslim family.
And invading it with various means that broadcast doubts and desires.
Ninth:
Facilitating scholarships for Muslim sons and daughters to the lands of the disbelieving West.
Where their brains are washed.
And charged with deviant ideas and beliefs.
Tenth:
Facilitating travel and tourism for Muslim families to lands of disbelief and debauchery.
So that they are tamed over time to accept corruption and break the awe of sin.
Eleventh:
Attempting to dominate educational curricula in Muslim countries.
And invading and charging them with what raises doubts and suspicions.
And deleting what they contain of correct creed, jihad, and character building.
Twelfth:
Attacking the Islamic economy with doubts through which they justify usury and forbidden earnings.
Upon which savage capitalism is based.
Thirteenth:
Spreading foreign education and international schools in Muslim countries.
In which the disbelievers broadcast their curricula, disbelieving creeds, and low morals.
Fourteenth:
Holding dialogue conferences that demolish the foundations of Islam from within.
Such as interfaith dialogue and rapprochement conferences.
And human rights and women's rights conferences.
