He is one of the most experienced poets
Rather, I am one of the owners of pendants
My poetry was full of wisdom
She was known for her chivalry and courage
She was famous for her oratory and eloquence
I was one of the noblest people in pre-Islamic times and Islam
The Mother of the Believers, Aisha, may God be pleased with her, narrated to me
About a thousand verses of poetry
I issued a decree with my people before the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, before the conquest
So I converted to Islam with them
Although I am one of the great poets
However, I did not write poetry in Islam
God Almighty has replaced the Qur’an with him
So I dispensed with poetry
I only mentioned one verse in Islam
And this house is
He did not blame the generous free man like himself
What is bitter is corrected by a good companion
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, supported me
In some of my poetry
He said the truest word ever said by a poet
Except that everything that God has left is false
It is my saying
Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, sent
To his worker in Kufa
He asks him to send it to me
To write him some poetry
So I said to him, “If you want, I will sing for you from pre-Islamic poetry.”
He said, “Rather, from your poetry in Islam.”
So I wrote Surah Al-Baqarah for him
And I sent it to him
And I said, “May God replace this surah in Islam with poetry.”
