From the rule of affliction
Although affliction is a past year, and an inevitable fate for all people, it includes a great ruling and many benefits, the most important of which is
Firstly, to extract the servitude of the afflicted person to God Almighty in hardship, with the appearance of his brokenness and lack of his Lord Almighty, and his insistence in supplication to remove from him his grief.
And extracting his servitude in hardship, by showing his gratitude to his Lord, Glory be to Him, for the blessings He bestowed upon him, and thanking Him for them.
Secondly, the believers are scrutinized by purifying their hearts from whatever diseases are attached to them
Third, preparing afflicted believers for high positions in this world and the hereafter
How many scholars and preachers whose steadfastness in their tribulations raised them among the people made them a role model and imam for them
In addition to the reward and good deeds that will be multiplied for him due to his imitation, this will be a reason for raising his status and rank in Paradise.
Fourthly, affliction is an opportunity for the afflicted preacher to reconsider the approaches and perceptions that he follows, and rid them of any flaws or errors that may taint them.
Fifthly, the brokenness of the soul caused by affliction and its tranquility towards its Lord leads to a cure for the disease of evil, arrogance, and arrogance that may afflict it.
Sixth, the believer is afflicted with all kinds of torment inflicted on him by his enemy, such as imprisonment, physical and psychological torture, ridicule and ridicule.
All of this leads to breaking the barrier of fear that the believer has of these types before witnessing them, and helps him to remain steadfast in his calling, the calling of truth and success.
It goes without saying that these rulings and benefits are only attained by God Almighty affirming whoever knows that he deserves them due to his willingness to accept the truth and guidance, as we explained in the Sunnah of Guidance and Misguidance.
