Someone I did not see killed them
I said, “The Messenger of God has spoken the truth.”
And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, made the day of Uhud say:
What my uncle did, what Hamza did
So I went out looking for him
I found him killed and mutilated
I stood at him impressed
I couldn't move because I was sad for him
What will I say to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?
So I slowed it down
Then Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, came
He found me and found Hamza dead next to me
So he took my hand
We returned and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed us of his death
Then I witnessed Maonah wells
So she was killed that day
Where I and Omar bin Umayyah, may God be pleased with him, were in the army
We saw birds hovering over the homes of our friends
So we came to them
So they were all killed
So I said to Omar
What you see
He said, “I think we should join the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and inform him.”
So I said
I would not be late for a place where my friends were killed
So I hurried after the polytheists until I caught up with them
So I fought them until I was killed
