The Garden of Guidance.
Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said:
“O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and seek the way of approach unto Him, and strive in His way in order that ye may succeed.” (5:35)
And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"O people,
you will never be able to bear,
or you will never carry out,
all that you have been commanded to do.
Rather, aim for rectitude and rejoice in good tidings."
Narrated by Abu Dawud.
And he (peace be upon him) said:
"O people, would you like to strive earnestly in supplication?"
They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah."
He said:
"Say:
'O Allah, help me to remember You, give thanks to You, and worship You well.'"
Narrated by al-Hakim.
A benefit:
Religion is lost between excess and neglect, between harsh stringency and laxity, between extremism and complacency.
Therefore, adhere to moderation!
For indeed, no one ever overburdens themselves in religion except that it overwhelms them.
