In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

His grandfather ‘Abd al-Muttalib’s guardianship.
‘Abd al-Muttalib, the grandfather of the Prophet, peace be upon him, took charge.
Of the guardianship of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
After the passing of Aminah bint Wahb.
The mother of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
His guardianship of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, continued for two years.
Allah instilled the love of His Messenger, peace be upon him, into the heart of his grandfather ‘Abd al-Muttalib.
To the extent that he would never be apart from him.
Al-Hakim narrated in al-Mustadrak with a hasan (good) chain of narration, which he authenticated.
From Kundayr ibn Sa‘id, from his father, who said:
I performed Hajj during the pre-Islamic era.
I saw a man circumambulating the House (the Ka‘bah).
He was reciting verses, saying:
"O Lord, return my rider, Muhammad, to me."
"Return him to me and bestow a favor upon me."
I asked, "Who is this?"
They replied, "‘Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim."
He had sent his grandson, Muhammad, in search of his camels.
He never sent him on an errand without him succeeding in it.
Yet, he had been delayed in returning to him.
It was not long before Muhammad arrived with the camels.
He embraced him and said:
"O my son,"
"I have worried over you with a worry I have never felt for anything before."
"By Allah, I will never send you on an errand again."
"And you shall never leave my side after this."
The passing of ‘Abd al-Muttalib.
When the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, reached.
The age of eight.
His grandfather ‘Abd al-Muttalib passed away.
Before his death.
He entrusted his son, Abu Talib.
With the protection and guardianship of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
The reason for his choosing Abu Talib.
Was because he was the full brother of ‘Abdullah.
The father of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
