and it is the belief that each individual will come on the Day of Resurrection with a recorded book containing what they did in this world.
He will hold it, either in his right hand if he is among the successful,
or in his left hand if he is among the losers.
Allah the Almighty says:
“Then, as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he will say: Take, read my book!” (69:19)
And Allah the Almighty says:
"But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, 'Oh, I wish I had not been given my record and had not known what is my account!'"
