The Garden of Guidance.
Allah Almighty said:
“O ye who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast.” (2:153)
And on the authority of 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said:
"I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about the plague,
and he informed me that it is a punishment that Allah sends upon whomever He wills,
and that Allah has made it a mercy for the believers.
There is no one who, when a plague strikes, remains in his town patiently seeking reward,
knowing that nothing will afflict him except what Allah has decreed for him,
but that he will have the equivalent of the reward of a martyr."
Related by al-Bukhari.
A Beneficial Point:
'Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
"Indeed, patience is to faith as the head is to the body;
so if the head is cut off, the body perishes."
Then he raised his voice and said:
"Indeed, there is no faith for the one who has no patience."
