The causes of conflict between truth and falsehood
The battle between the believers, the people of truth, and their opponents from the disbelievers and falsehood-holders
is a battle of creed between faith and disbelief
and nothing else whatsoever.
No matter what banners and motives for fighting the people of falsehood raise,
and distract the believers from the reality of the conflict and its causes,
such as their claims that the motives for conflict with Muslims are economic, political, or racial,
and so on.
Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has definitively settled the causes of conflict in His statement:
“They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise,” (85:8)
And in His statement, Glorified be He:
“Say: O People of the Scripture! Do ye blame us for aught else than that we believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed aforetime, and because most of you are evil-livers?” (5:59)
And indeed, most of you are transgressors.
