The Garden of Guidance.
Allah, Almighty and Glorious, said:
“O ye who believe! spend of that wherewith We have provided you ere a day come when there will be no trafficking, nor friendship, nor intercession. The disbelievers, they are the wrong-doers.” (2:254)
"And it is the disbelievers who are the wrongdoers."
And the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"O people!
Turn to your Lord!
For that which is small yet sufficient
is far better than that which is plentiful yet distracts.
Never does the sun set without two angels beside it,
calling out with a cry heard by all of Allah's creation except mankind and the jinn:
'O Allah, grant replenishment to every giver,
and bring ruin upon every withholder!'
And regarding the angels' call, Allah revealed in the Qur'an:
'O people, turn to your Lord,'
“And Allah summoneth to the abode of peace, and leadeth whom He will to a straight path.” (10:25)
“And Allah summoneth to the abode of peace, and leadeth whom He will to a straight path.” (10:25)
and regarding their prayer:
'O Allah, grant replenishment to every giver,
and bring ruin upon every withholder,'
He revealed: 'By the night when it covers,
and by the day when it shines brightly...'
“And Him Who hath created male and female,” (92:3)
up to His words: '...for hardship.'"

Benefit:
The very first deed the deceased yearns to return to life and perform
is giving in charity.
Allah, Almighty and Glorious, said:
"And spend from that which We have provided for you..."
“And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.” (63:10)
“And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.” (63:10)
"...so that I may give charity and be among the righteous."
Yet this forlorn and desperate wish is quickly shattered
before the words of the Almighty:
“But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.” (63:11)
"And Allah is All-Aware of what you do."
For this reason, it is authentically reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Give charity before a time comes when you will not be able to give charity."
