Pause in Madinah and remember the chosen ones,
Those who gathered around the Messenger as the Ansar.
Let your tears flow, for you shall not be blamed if they stream,
Like rivers, O my brother, from the intensity of your love.

Send your heart forth to soar and circle,
To gather the nectar and kiss the flowers.
Delight in the sweetness of one who prostrates in humble supplication,
Time and again in the garden of the pure sanctuary.
Did you not know that Taybah is a home,
That defeated the darkness and brought forth the dawn of lights?

Stand by al-'Aqiq and ask the valley why,
The Beloved settled in your land and chose it.
Send a message of our love to Uhud,
And recite to it poems from the ocean of longing.
Turn toward the land of al-Baqi' to offer salutations,
For its soil embraces the Companions and the righteous.
