The reality of luxury
Luxury is what most distracts a woman from piety and asceticism in this world
It does not mean merely enjoying grace
Rather, the affluent person is heedless of the afterlife
The one who enjoys the pleasures of the world and its desires
He who was blessed with grace
He is the one who was overshadowed and overpowered by grace
And retaliation is the return of truth
Luxury is not mentioned in the Qur’an except as reprehensible
As in the words of God Almighty
Those who were unjust followed what they enjoyed and were criminals
And the Almighty said
And We did not send any warner to any town except that the wealthy said it was affluent
