They will say: Allah. They will say: Allah. Then say: Will ye not then keep your duty (unto Him)?” (10:31) 00:05:18.949 --> 00:05:21.790 And He brings the living out of the dead. 00:05:21.790 --> 00:05:24.949 And who manages the affair? 00:05:24.949 --> 00:05:28.589 They will say, "Allah." 00:05:28.589 --> 00:05:34.040 Say, "Will you not then fear Him?" 00:05:34.040 --> 00:05:37.519 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists: 00:05:37.519 --> 00:05:41.240 "Who provides for you from the sky, the rain and the downpour? 00:05:41.279 --> 00:05:46.759 And who brings forth from the earth your sustenance and food that He grows for you? 00:05:46.759 --> 00:05:53.279 Or who is it that possesses your hearing—which you hear with—to increase its power, 00:05:53.279 --> 00:05:56.839 or take it away from you and make you deaf? 00:05:56.839 --> 00:06:02.040 And who possesses your sight—which you see with—to grant you light, 00:06:02.040 --> 00:06:05.879 or take away its light and make you blind? 00:06:05.879 --> 00:06:09.079 And who brings the living thing out of the dead, 00:06:09.079 --> 00:06:12.160 and brings the dead thing out of the living? 00:06:12.160 --> 00:06:16.839 And who manages the affair of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them?" 00:06:16.839 --> 00:06:18.879 They will surely answer you: 00:06:18.879 --> 00:06:22.110 "The One who does all that is Allah." 00:06:22.110 --> 00:06:27.110 Say, "Will you not then fear the punishment of Allah for your polytheism, 00:06:27.110 --> 00:06:32.290 and your worshiping alongside Him those who do not provide you with anything?" 00:06:32.290 --> 00:06:36.449 “Such then is Allah, your rightful Lord. After the Truth what is there saving error? How then are ye turned away!” (10:32) 00:06:36.449 --> 00:06:42.009 “Such then is Allah, your rightful Lord. After the Truth what is there saving error? How then are ye turned away!” (10:32) 00:06:42.009 --> 00:06:47.180 So how are you deluded? 00:06:47.180 --> 00:06:48.819 O people, 00:06:48.819 --> 00:06:51.699 this One who performs these actions 00:06:51.699 --> 00:06:55.300 is Allah, your true Lord, in whom there is no doubt. 00:06:55.300 --> 00:07:00.180 So what is there beyond the truth except straying from the straight path? 00:07:00.180 --> 00:07:02.819 If the truth is as such, 00:07:02.819 --> 00:07:05.819 then your claiming anyone else as a god or lord 00:07:05.819 --> 00:07:09.069 is error and a departure from the truth. 00:07:09.069 --> 00:07:12.790 So how are you turned away from guidance and the truth, 00:07:12.790 --> 00:07:18.560 while you admit that the One from whom you are turning away is the Truth? 00:07:18.560 --> 00:07:23.879 Thus has the word of your Lord been justified against those who defiantly disobeyed: 00:07:23.879 --> 00:07:29.029 that they will not believe. 00:07:29.029 --> 00:07:33.670 Just as these polytheists have been turned away from the truth to error, 00:07:33.670 --> 00:07:37.430 His decree and judgment have become binding, according to His prior knowledge, 00:07:37.430 --> 00:07:41.790 upon those who departed from the obedience of their Lord to His disobedience: 00:07:41.790 --> 00:07:45.350 that they will not believe in the oneness of Allah, 00:07:45.350 --> 00:07:50.740 nor in the prophethood of His Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. 00:07:50.740 --> 00:07:59.860 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that produceth Creation and then reproduceth it? Say: Allah produceth Creation, then reproduceth it. How then, are ye misled!” (10:34) 00:07:59.860 --> 00:08:05.220 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that produceth Creation and then reproduceth it? Say: Allah produceth Creation, then reproduceth it. How then, are ye misled!” (10:34) 00:08:05.220 --> 00:08:10.550 So how are you deluded? 00:08:10.550 --> 00:08:14.829 Say, O Muhammad, "Is there among your gods and idols 00:08:14.829 --> 00:08:18.230 anyone who originates the creation of something from nothing, 00:08:18.230 --> 00:08:23.470 then destroys it after creating it, then restores it to its original state?" 00:08:23.470 --> 00:08:27.430 They are unable to even claim that for them. 00:08:27.430 --> 00:08:30.389 Say to them then, O Muhammad: 00:08:30.389 --> 00:08:34.950 "Allah begins the creation and originates it from nothing, 00:08:34.990 --> 00:08:37.470 then He destroys it when He wills, 00:08:37.470 --> 00:08:40.350 then He restores it when He desires." 00:08:40.350 --> 00:08:47.179 So how are you turned away and diverted from the straight path and the way of righteousness? 00:08:47.179 --> 00:08:54.980 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?” (10:35) 00:08:54.980 --> 00:08:58.379 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?” (10:35) 00:08:58.379 --> 00:09:04.179 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?” (10:35) 00:09:04.179 --> 00:09:13.419 Is there one who does not guide unless he is guided? 00:09:13.419 --> 00:09:19.740 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?” (10:35) 00:09:19.740 --> 00:09:23.139 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists: 00:09:23.139 --> 00:09:29.100 "Is there among your gods anyone who guides the straying one from his error to the straight path?" 00:09:29.100 --> 00:09:32.419 When they say "No" and admit to that, 00:09:32.500 --> 00:09:37.740 say to them, "Then Allah guides the one who has strayed from guidance to the truth." 00:09:37.740 --> 00:09:41.460 Is then the one who guides, O people, the straying one to the truth 00:09:41.460 --> 00:09:44.779 more worthy to be followed in what he calls to, 00:09:44.779 --> 00:09:49.659 or the one who does not guide unless another guide directs him to it? 00:09:49.659 --> 00:09:52.419 “Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?” (10:35) 00:09:52.419 --> 00:09:59.340 Do you not know that the One who guides to the truth is more worthy to be followed than the one who does not guide to anything? 00:09:59.340 --> 00:10:02.940 So you should abandon the worship of one who does not guide to anything, 00:10:02.940 --> 00:10:07.139 and follow the One who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea, 00:10:07.139 --> 00:10:10.779 and devote your worship sincerely to Him. 00:10:10.779 --> 00:10:16.500 “Most of them follow not but conjecture. Assuredly conjecture can by no means take the place of truth. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do.” (10:36) 00:10:16.500 --> 00:10:23.169 Indeed, conjecture does not avail against the truth at all. 00:10:23.169 --> 00:10:30.940 “Most of them follow not but conjecture. Assuredly conjecture can by no means take the place of truth. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do.” (10:36) 00:10:30.980 --> 00:10:34.340 And most of these polytheists do not follow 00:10:34.340 --> 00:10:38.539 anything but what they have no knowledge of its reality or validity. 00:10:38.539 --> 00:10:41.539 Rather, they are in doubt and uncertainty regarding it. 00:10:41.539 --> 00:10:45.220 Indeed, doubt does not avail against certainty at all. 00:10:45.220 --> 00:10:51.059 Indeed, Allah has knowledge of what these polytheists do in following conjecture 00:10:51.059 --> 00:10:53.820 and denying the absolute truth. 00:10:53.820 --> 00:10:57.500 And He is in wait for them. 00:10:57.500 --> 00:11:03.940 “And this Qur'an is not such as could ever be invented in despite of Allah; but it is a confirmation of that which was before it and an exposition of that which is decreed for mankind - Therein is no doubt - from the Lord of the Worlds.” (10:37) 00:11:03.940 --> 00:11:12.539 But it is a confirmation of what was before it. 00:11:12.539 --> 00:11:19.659 “And this Qur'an is not such as could ever be invented in despite of Allah; but it is a confirmation of that which was before it and an exposition of that which is decreed for mankind - Therein is no doubt - from the Lord of the Worlds.” (10:37) 00:11:19.659 --> 00:11:24.820 This Qur'an could not have been fabricated by anyone other than Allah, 00:11:24.820 --> 00:11:27.259 but it is from Allah. 00:11:27.259 --> 00:11:33.539 He revealed it as a confirmation of the scriptures that preceded it, which were revealed to the prophets of Allah, 00:11:33.539 --> 00:11:39.460 and as an explanation of the Book that Allah decreed for the Ummah of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:11:39.460 --> 00:11:41.659 in His prior knowledge. 00:11:41.659 --> 00:11:45.539 There is no doubt that it is a confirmation of what was before it, 00:11:45.539 --> 00:11:49.179 and a detailed explanation of the Book from the Lord of the worlds, 00:11:49.179 --> 00:11:53.330 not a fabrication from anyone else. 00:11:53.330 --> 00:11:57.490 Or do they say, "He fabricated it"? 00:11:57.490 --> 00:12:13.409 “Or say they: He hath invented it? Say: Then bring a surah like unto it, and call (for help) on all ye can besides Allah, if ye are truthful.” (10:38) 00:12:14.789 --> 00:12:17.590 Or do these polytheists say, 00:12:17.590 --> 00:12:21.470 "Muhammad fabricated this Qur'an from himself"? 00:12:21.470 --> 00:12:23.669 Say, O Muhammad, to them: 00:12:23.669 --> 00:12:28.029 "If it were as you say—that I fabricated and invented it— 00:12:28.070 --> 00:12:30.549 then you are like me among the Arabs, 00:12:30.549 --> 00:12:33.230 and my tongue is like your tongue. 00:12:33.230 --> 00:12:36.669 So bring a surah like this Qur'an, 00:12:36.669 --> 00:12:44.309 and call upon, O polytheists, whomever you are able to call upon from your allies and partners besides Allah." 00:12:44.309 --> 00:12:49.429 For you will never be able to bring a surah like it, 00:12:49.429 --> 00:12:53.740 if you are truthful in your claim that Muhammad fabricated it. 00:12:53.779 --> 00:12:55.659 But if you do not do that, 00:12:55.659 --> 00:13:00.100 then there is no doubt that you are liars in your claim. 00:13:00.100 --> 00:13:08.620 “Nay, but they denied that, the knowledge whereof they could not compass, and whereof the interpretation (in events) hath not yet come unto them. Even so did those before them deny. Then see what was the consequence for the wrong-doers!” (10:39) 00:13:08.620 --> 00:13:13.820 Likewise did those before them deny. 00:13:13.820 --> 00:13:21.289 So observe how the end of the wrongdoers was. 00:13:21.330 --> 00:13:25.370 It is not that these polytheists deny you, O Muhammad, 00:13:25.370 --> 00:13:32.970 but they deny what they have not encompassed in knowledge of what Allah revealed to you in this Qur'an, 00:13:32.970 --> 00:13:36.210 regarding the warning of their punishment for their disbelief in their Lord. 00:13:36.210 --> 00:13:41.009 And the explanation of what that warning leads to has not yet come to them, 00:13:41.009 --> 00:13:45.129 which Allah has threatened them with in this Qur'an. 00:13:45.129 --> 00:13:48.769 Just as these polytheists denied, O Muhammad, 00:13:48.809 --> 00:13:52.649 so did the nations that passed away before them deny. 00:13:52.649 --> 00:13:57.490 So observe, O Muhammad, how the end of those who disbelieved in Allah was. 00:13:57.490 --> 00:14:01.169 For the end of these people from the disbelievers of your tribe 00:14:01.169 --> 00:14:03.970 is like the end of those who were before them, 00:14:03.970 --> 00:14:07.840 if they do not repent from their disbelief. 00:14:07.840 --> 00:14:16.039 “And of them is he who believeth therein, and of them is he who believeth not therein, and thy Lord is Best Aware of the corrupters.” (10:40) 00:14:16.039 --> 00:14:22.259 And your Lord is most knowing of the corrupters. 00:14:22.259 --> 00:14:25.139 And among your people from Quraysh, O Muhammad, 00:14:25.139 --> 00:14:27.620 are those who will believe in the Qur'an, 00:14:27.620 --> 00:14:30.419 and among them are those who will not believe in it. 00:14:30.419 --> 00:14:33.460 And Allah is most knowing of the deniers among them. 00:14:33.460 --> 00:14:35.019 Nothing is hidden from Him, 00:14:35.019 --> 00:14:38.480 and He is in wait to punish them. 00:14:38.480 --> 00:14:42.159 “And if they deny thee, say: Unto me my work, and unto you your work.
