He got to know the Companions, scholars, and the Most High
A new challenge from me
I am one of the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, from the Ansar
Among the companions of the Qur’an
I am the judge of Damascus
And the wise man of this nation
I am one of the ascetics
I converted to Islam late on the day of Badr
I had an idol in my house that I worshiped
Abdullah bin Rawahah and Muhammad bin Maslama, may God be pleased with them, came to my house
So he broke my idol and they left
So I came back and saw what had happened to my gods
So I started collecting the idol
And I say, woe to you
Did you not defend yourself?
My wife said
If your God helps or protects anyone
To defend himself and benefit her
I told her you are right
Prepare water for me in the bathroom
So I took a bath
And I wore a solution
So I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and converted to Islam
I was a merchant before Islam
When I converted to Islam, I combined trade and worship
It did not meet
So I left business and devoted myself to worship
And I read the Qur’an
I used to fast during the day and pray at night
Until Salman, may God be pleased with him, said to me
When he saw my condition in my house
He heard my wife's complaint
Your body has a right over you
And your Lord is truly upon you
And your family has a right over you
Fast, break your fast, pray, and go to your family
And give everyone his right
When I mentioned that to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
He said
Salman is right
The Commander of the Faithful, Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, sent me to the Levant
To teach people the Qur’an
And the most successful of them in religion
So I started teaching the Qur’an
I was the first to enact memorization circles in Islam
Where more than a thousand men gathered
So I made a teleprompter for every ten of them
I go through the list
If the man is wiser than them
He turned to me to offer to read it
I participated in the Islamic conquests
When we conquered Cyprus
I went through captivity and cried
They told me
Crying on a day like this
In which God honored Islam and its people
So I said
While this nation is clearly oppressive
Because they disobeyed God
So find what you see
How easy are the servants of God if they disobey Him
I had sixty and three hundred friends in God
I pray for them in my prayers
So they asked me about that
So I said
He is not a man who prays for his brother in the unseen
Except that God appointed two angels for it, they say
And you have the same
Would I not like the angels to pray for me?
