The wisdom behind the struggle between truth and falsehood
Allah, the Exalted, possesses profound wisdom in ordaining the struggle between truth and falsehood.
Among these, firstly, are aspects of the servitude of the people of truth to their Lord, which only manifest during struggle.
Such as the servitude of patience, steadfastness upon truth, imploring Allah, the Exalted, for victory, and repentance from sins, and so forth.
Thus, Allah, the Exalted, has upon His servants acts of servitude in times of ease and hardship, prosperity and adversity.
Secondly, distinguishing the corrupt from the pure.
People are equal in times of ease, but they differ in times of hardship.
Allah, the Exalted, says:
Thirdly, in times of struggle against falsehood, aspects of truth become apparent to people that they would not have known without this struggle.
Consequently, those who follow and support the truth increase.
Fourthly, likewise, in situations of struggle, ambitions are stirred, and the spirit of resistance among the people of truth is strengthened.
Their affiliation and adherence to it grow stronger.
