10- 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz (may Allah be pleased with him) said while on the pulpit:
11- "Never does Allah bestow a blessing upon a servant and then take it away from him,
12- granting him patience in place of what was taken,
13- except that what He compensated him with is far better than what was taken from him."
14- Then he recited:
“Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint.” (39:10)
