In the modern era, the word terrorism has been widely used
Terrorism and counter-terrorism
You are a terror in political circles
But there is no international consensus on the definition of terrorism
Which makes the term capable of being used to serve various political purposes for many countries and bodies
But there are some definitions or descriptions that may be shared by some politicians in defining terrorism
Such as using violence or threats to serve political or religious goals
Or intellectual or social
They are actions committed by individuals or groups
Whether it does so for its own purposes or to serve some government
These actions extend beyond the targeted victims directly to others in society
It also excludes some acts from being included under the name of terrorism
Such as resistance to the occupier and permitted actions during wartime
