I am one of the companions and former supporters of Islam
I witnessed the Pledge of Aqaba and attended the Battle of Badr with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked who was with him on the night of Badr
He said: How do you fight?
So I got up and took the bow and arrow and said
If the people were close to two hundred cubits, it was stoning
And when they approached, the spears would reach them, and the thrust would break until they broke
If it split, we put it down and took up swords and fought
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “This is how the war broke out.”
Whoever fights, let him fight as this man fights
I was one of those who remained steadfast with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Uhud
You did well that day
On that day, one of the brigade’s owners, Masafa’ and his brother, Al-Jalaas, was killed

About two hundred men from Banu Lahyan gathered against us
They told us to take prisoners, for we do not want to kill you
I did not trust them and said, “As for me, I will not come under the protection of an infidel.”
Oh God, tell your Prophet about us
I had given God a covenant not to become a polytheist
And let no polytheist touch me with any impurity from them
Six of my friends agreed with me
They refused to surrender
Three of us were satisfied with the captivity
So we fought the polytheists until we were all killed
They wanted to take my head off
To give him the woman and win the prize
The anthers, which are male bees, prevented them
Where it shaded me and sheltered all the polytheists who approached me
When they came between me and them
They said leave him until the evening
Then he will go away and then we will take him
When the night came
God sent a torrent into the valley
So bear with me away from them
They searched for me but did not find my body
So God protected me from them
My grave is not known
