Chapter: What was mentioned during the sleep of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, may God be pleased with them both
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
It was when he took his bed
He put his right palm under his right cheek and said
Your punishment awaits me on the day you resurrect your servants
And in the narration of the day you gathered your servants
There are three etiquettes in this hadith
It is recommended for a Muslim when he goes to bed
The first
Focus on the right side
And the second
Place the right palm under the right cheek
And the third
to say
Your punishment awaits me on the day you resurrect your servants
That is, I ask you, my Lord, to protect me from your torment on the day you raise your servants to account
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, says that
Although God forgave him his previous and future sins
Humility to God Almighty and reverence for Him
And to teach his nation to say that when sleeping
Because it is possible that this will be the end of life
The conclusion of their work will be the remembrance of God Almighty
With repentance and admission of negligence
On the authority of Hudhayfah, may God be pleased with him, he said:
He was the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
When he went to bed, he said:
Oh God, in your name I die and live
And when he woke up, he said:
Praise be to God who revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection
In this hadith
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
When he went to bed
That is, I pushed him to sleep
He said
Oh God, in your name I die and live
That is, by mentioning your name I will live as long as I live and by it I will die
And he said when he woke up
That is, if he wakes up from his sleep
He said
Praise be to God who revived us after He caused us to die
That is, we respond to ourselves after we have stopped acting by sleeping
He called death sleep
Because the mind and movement disappear with it
And then they said
Sleep is the brother of death
And His saying, “And to Him is the resurrection.”
Resurrection is the revival or resurrection
He alerted, may God bless him and grant him peace
Re-awakening after sleep
Which is like death
To prove resurrection after death
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
He was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
If he goes to bed every night
Enough collection
So he blew on them
And he read about them
Say: God is one
And say, I seek refuge in the Lord of Creation
And say, I seek refuge in the Lord of people
Then he wiped as much of his body as he could with them
It starts with his head and face
And what is more acceptable than his body
Do this three times
In this hadith
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
When he returned to his bed, he would enter it
God Almighty is mentioned in a specific capacity
We will mention it
And say it every night
This indicates his constant remembrance of this dhikr
Even he, may God bless him and grant him peace
In his death illness
When he became heavier and more tired
He was commanding Aisha, may God be pleased with her
To do that to him
Take care of this blessed remembrance
This is the intended mention
He brought his palms together
By joining one palm to the other
With them glued and their fingers together
Then he reads them and blows his mouth
Say: God is one
And the two exorcists
Then he wipes as much of his body as he can with them
He begins with his head and face
And what is in front of his body and what is behind
He tries to generalize by wiping the palms
Over the entire body
There is a wording of the hadith in the Sahih
And his hands did not reach his body
He does this three times
This wiping brings blessing to the body
It protects you from Satan
It cannot come to him from any direction
Because he is protected by these verses
It also protects against vermin
And harmful insects
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He slept until he was blown away
When he slept, he would blow
Bilal came to him and called him to prayer
So he stood up and prayed but did not perform ablution
There is a story in the hadith
In this hadith, Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, mentions
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
He slept until he was blown away
When he slept, he would blow
The blowing here is a sound made by the sleeper
He knows that he is deep in sleep
And he said
Bilal came to him and called him to prayer
That is, inform him and invite him to pray
And he said, “So he stood up and prayed.”
He did not perform ablution, the scholars said
This is one of his characteristics, may God bless him and grant him peace
So peace and blessings be upon him
His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep
He will be like waking up
If something came out of him, he would feel it
And what he said and in the hadith is a story
He means what was mentioned in the two Sahihs
From the hadith of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
He said: I stayed with Maimouna
So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up
So he relieved himself and washed his face
And his hands, then he fell asleep and then got up
Then he came to the waterskin and released him
Hang it and then perform ablution
Ablution between two ablutions
He prayed, so I got up and stretched my hair
He hated for him to see that I was pious towards him
So I performed ablution
So he stood up to pray, and I stood to his left
So he took my ear and turned me around
To his right, she became orphaned
His prayer is thirteen rak'ahs
Then he got up and slept until he blew
When he slept, he would blow
So Bilal called him to prayer
He prayed but did not perform ablution
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him
That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
When he went to bed, he would say:
Praise be to God who fed us
He gave us enough to drink
And our shelter, how many things are not
Enough for him and no shelter
This hadith mentioned supplication when sleeping
It is saying thank God
Who fed us and gave us drink
That is, praise be to God who has blessed us with food
By which the body obtains nourishment
It is upon us to drink
It provides irrigation and relieves thirst
Rather, he mentioned them when sleeping
Because life cannot be complete without them
And what he said is enough
It is enough
That is, he protects us from the evil of his creation
Protect us from the harm of strangers and strangers
Enough of the things we care about
And they strive to achieve it
And he said, “Awana.”
That is, those who need shelter in a house in which we live
Definitely hot and cold
We cover our children with it
And he said, “How many are there for which there is neither sufficient nor shelter.”
That is, many of God's creation
God is not sufficient for the evil of the wicked
He does not make a dwelling place for them
Rather, he left them harmed in the deserts
In cold and heat
Our situation was not like that of animals either
That sleeps spread out in the open
That is, many of them are
And in this supplication when sleeping
Praise be to God Almighty
And praise be to Him, Glory be to Him, for the reasons for His blessings
And His continuous grace and giving
His talents and benevolence are abundant
And He, Glory be to Him, is the One of praise and praise
On the authority of Abu Qatada, may God be pleased with him
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
If he had a wedding at night
He lay on his right side
If he gets married before the morning
He raised his arm and placed his head on his palm
In this hadith
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
If he had a wedding at night
He lay on his right side
The groom is the traveler's landing
What is meant is that he, may God bless him and grant him peace

By praying dawn and taking care of it
Because if a person sleeps in this manner
He doesn't fall asleep
Ibn al-Jawzi, may God have mercy on him, said
But he did it at the end of the night
Fearing that he would fall asleep
Al-Qari, may God have mercy on him, said
Perhaps his wisdom is to teach his nation that
Because sleep does not burden them
So they miss the morning prayer beyond its time
In the hadith, it is permissible to sleep before
Entering prayer time
This is for someone who knows within himself that he is waking up
Or there is someone to wake him up
Benefit
Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said
Who manages his sleep and wakefulness
May God bless him and grant him peace
He found it the best sleep
It is most beneficial for the body, organs, and strength
He slept the first part of the night
He wakes up at the beginning of the second half
So Westack gets up
He performs ablution and prays what God has decreed for him
It takes the body, organs, and powers
And her luck of sleep and rest
And her luck in sports with the abundant reward
This is the goal of improving the heart and body
And this world and the hereafter
He was not getting any sleep
More than what is needed
He does not deprive himself of the amount he needs from him
And he did it perfectly
He sleeps if necessary
He places his hand on his right side
Remembering God until his eyes overcome him
Not full of food and drink
Nor directly next to the ground
It is not suitable for high mattresses
Rather, he has a bed made of Adam
Filled with fiber
He was lying on the pillow
He sometimes puts his hand under his cheek
And his words ended
Then the Prophet’s guidance came during sleep
A complete and comprehensive gift
It helps in the elevation of the soul and the health of the body
