The Garden of Guidance.
Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
“O ye who believe! Squander not your wealth among yourselves in vanity, except it be a trade by mutual consent, and kill not one another. Lo! Allah is ever Merciful unto you.” (4:29)

“Whoso doeth that through aggression and injustice, we shall cast him into Fire, and that is ever easy for Allah.” (4:30)
"We shall soon cast him into a Fire,
and that is easy for Allah."
“If ye avoid the great (things) which ye are forbidden, We will remit from you your evil deeds and make you enter at a noble gate.” (4:31)
And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"O people, the time has come for you to refrain from transgressing the limits set by Allah.
Whoever commits any of these foul deeds should conceal it under Allah's veil of concealment,
for whoever reveals their misdeed to us, we will enforce the decree of Allah's Book upon them."
And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recited...
“And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty;” (25:68)

A Point of Benefit: The mercy and justice of Islam are clearly manifest in the penal system of prescribed punishments (hudud).
For they were legislated with such stringent conditions that it is almost as if they were designed never to be executed,
but rather to serve as a deterrent to anyone whose soul tempts them to commit major sins,
and likewise to serve as a safeguard for every individual in society against having their rights violated.
Indeed, in piety there is guidance and a criterion to distinguish between truth and falsehood.
So be mindful of Allah, that you may receive mercy.
