In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Say: Are those who know and those who do not know equal?
The splendor of knowledge according to wisdom

May God protect him with the virtue of fairness
The scholar Al-Shawkani, may God have mercy on him, said
He died in the year one thousand two hundred and fifty AH
If you, student, set yourself up for fairness
And not intolerance to any sect
Nor for any scholar
Rather, it made all people equal in status
Because they belong to Sharia law
They are doomed to something they cannot find a way out of
They cannot transform
In addition to rising above that
Because someone from the nation must work
In the opinion of one of them
Or he must imitate him and accept what he says
I have gained the greatest benefits of knowledge
And the souls of his pioneers won
For the qualities of a student of knowledge
Setting oneself to be fair and just with opponents
In issues, diligence, and follow-ups
There is no sanctity for any doctrine, sheikh, method, or book
At the expense of a directory or static text
Or a transmitted consensus
Infallibility is only for legal evidence
Not for the jurist scholar
Because he is human, he makes mistakes
Everything is taken from what he said and left out
Except for the owner of the greatest grave, peace and blessings be upon him
This is the most valuable benefit of knowledge
Fairness and impartiality of truth
And not showing favoritism to anyone
Because scientific courtesy is fanaticism
And turn away from the truth
And spoiling the path and diligence
And in the Qur’an
Do not follow your desires
If the student is raised on that
His religion was safe for him and his drink was pleasant
His qualities were good and he was blessed with his knowledge
He will not be a true scholar
Until he devotes himself to knowledge and rejects his desires
He lives for the evidence
The approach of the imams before us follows
By sipping from the sea of Quran and Sunnah
Not the tone of tradition and fanaticism
As Imam Ahmed, may God have mercy on him, said
Do not imitate me or imitate Malik or Al-Shafi’i
Neither Al-Awza’i nor Al-Thawri
And take from where they took
And the place where the revelation took them
Not the venerable books of doctrine
Nor the mayor of the sheikhs
Or duplicate student body
God is the Helper
How beautiful it is for jurists to read
In the books of their opponents
And they receive it with reverence
Without fanaticism towards one school of jurisprudence over another
But they seek the truth
They recognize the statements of their opponents
Especially since some of the books are sectarian
Others diminish their value or evidence
We were all judged by the Qur’an and Sunnah
And good reasoning for them
And peace
