O Allah, whatever You have protected Your righteous servants from—every evil, harm, and affliction.

Protect us from it, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer.

O Allah, whatever good You have distributed upon the tongues of those who ask.

Bestow it upon us first, and grant us the greatest share and portion thereof.

From ourselves, our spouses, and our families.

And from our lands and from the Muslim men and women, O Lord of the worlds.

O Reliever of worries and distress.

O Answerer of prayers and requests.

We ask You in this hour to gladden the eyes of the deprived.

And to provide for every childless one.

O Allah, grant them good, righteous, and reforming offspring, O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, shower upon them the blessing of fatherhood and motherhood, O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, have mercy on their longing, their pleading, and their requests.

“Unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He createth what He will. He bestoweth female (offspring) upon whom He will, and bestoweth male (offspring) upon whom He will;” (42:49)
