Allah the Exalted says:

“Lo! We have placed all that is on the earth as an ornament thereof that We may try them: which of them is best in conduct.” (18:7)

This worldly life is filled with adornments and temptations.

It contains both that which is permissible and that which is forbidden.

In this lies a trial and a test from Allah.

So, whoever contents himself with its permissible aspects and avoids its forbidden ones,

shall succeed and find salvation, by the permission of Allah.

And whoever mixes them and stumbles in his path stands upon the brink of destruction.
