Patience in three types: patience in abstaining from sins, patience in acts of obedience, and patience in times of adversity and calamities. The best of them is patience in abstaining from sins. The wise person manages his conditions by being firm in the three conditions that we mentioned and the necessity of patience in the levels that we have described before he rises to the level of satisfaction with God Almighty in times of both hardship and ease.

Know that there is much good in being patient with what you hate, that victory comes with patience, that relief comes with distress, and that there is ease with hardship.

If a servant of God has attained a status before God which he has not attained through his work, God tests him in his body, in his wealth, or in his child, then He makes him patient until He conveys to him the status that preceded him.

This matter cannot be completed except with two things: patience and certainty. If there is certainty and there is no patience with it, it will not be completed. If there is patience and there is no certainty with it, it will not be completed.
