On the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked which work is best, and he said, “Belief in God and His Messenger.” It was said, “Then what?” He said, “Jihad for the sake of God.” It was said, “Then what?” He said, “Mabrur Hajj.”
On the authority of Saad, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, gave to a group while I was sitting among them. He said: Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, left behind a man among them whom he did not give, and he liked them to me. So I stood up to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and I walked with him and said, “What do you have to say about so-and-so? By God, I see him as a believer.” He said, “or a Muslim.” He said, so I was silent for a while, then what I know about him overcame me. I said, “O Messenger of God, what do you have to say about so-and-so? By God, I see him as a believer.” He said, or “A Muslim,” he said, so I was silent for a while, then what I knew about him overcame me, so I said, “O Messenger of God, what do you have to say about so-and-so? By God, I see him as a believer.” He said, “or a Muslim,” meaning, so he said, “I will give to the man and someone else who is more beloved to me than him, for fear that he will be thrown into the Fire on his face.”

I saw Paradise, and I picked up a cluster, and if I had hit it, I would have eaten from it all the rest of the world, and I would have been exposed to Hell. I have never seen a more horrific sight like today, and I saw the majority of its inhabitants being women.

The signs of a hypocrite are three: if he tells a lie, if he makes a promise he breaks it, and if he betrays someone
There are four things: whoever has one of them is a pure hypocrite, and whoever has one of these traits has a trait of hypocrisy until he gives it up: if they go to someone who betrays them, if they tell a lie, if they make a covenant they betray, and if they quarrel they break away.

Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven, and whoever prays Laylat Al-Qadr out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
If God creeps upon whoever goes out on His path, he will not be brought out except by faith in Me and belief in My Messengers, that I may bring him back with the reward or spoils he has obtained, or admit him into Paradise. Had I not made it difficult for my nation, I would not have sat behind a company. In one narration, by the One in Whose Hand is my soul, had it not been that men of the believers do not wish to remain behind me, and I have nothing to carry them on, I would not have left behind a company that fights in the path of God. I would have liked to be killed in the path of God, then brought back to life, then killed, then brought back to life, then killed.
Whoever prays Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven
Religion is easy, and no one will struggle with religion except that he will be overcome by it, so they repaid, approached, gave good tidings, and sought help from the morning and the evening, and a little bit of pressure.
The first time the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to Medina, he descended upon his ancestors, or he said, his maternal uncles from the Ansar, and that he prayed sixteen or seventeen months before Bayt al-Maqdis, and he liked that his qibla was before the House, in a narration, so God Almighty revealed, “We may see the turning of your face in the sky, so We will give you a qibla that pleases you,” and that he prayed the first prayer that he prayed, the afternoon prayer, and a group of people prayed with him. Then a man from among those who prayed with him came out, so he passed by the people of a mosque while they were kneeling, and he said, “I bear witness by God that I have prayed with him.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went before Mecca, so they turned as they were before the House. The Jews were impressed that he was praying before the Holy House and the People of the Book, but when he turned his face towards the House, they denied that. Al-Baraa said in his hadith that he died facing the Qiblah before men turned and were killed, so we did not know what to say about them, so God Almighty revealed it, and God would not let your faith be lost.

I said to him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he entered upon her, and there was a woman with her. He said, “Who is this?” She said, “So-and-so remembers from her prayer.” He said, “Do what you are able to do, for by God, God does not tire until you tire.” The most beloved of religion to him was the one whose companion persisted in it. The most beloved of religion to God was that which was constant.
God will gather the believers on the Day of Resurrection in this manner, and they will say, “If we intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from this place we are.” Then they come to Adam and say, “O Adam, do you not see the people? God created you with His hand and made His angels prostrate to you and taught you the names of everything. Intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from this place.” He says, “You are not there.” And he mentions to them his sin that he committed. In a narration, And he mentions his sin and is ashamed, but go to Noah, for he is the first messenger whom God sold to the people of the earth. They come to Noah and he says, “I am not there.” He mentions his sin that he committed. In one narration, he mentions his asking his Lord about which he has no knowledge, and he feels ashamed. But go to Abraham, the friend of the Most Merciful. They go to Abraham, and he says, “I am not there.” He mentions to them his sins that he committed. In a narration, he mentions three words that he lied to. But go to Moses, a servant to whom God gave the Torah, and he spoke to him in speech. So they go to Moses and he says. I am not there, and he mentions to them his sin that he committed in a narration, and he mentions killing a soul without a soul, and he is ashamed of his Lord, but bring Jesus, the servant of God, His Messenger, His word, and his spirit. They come to Jesus, and he says, I am not there, but bring Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, a servant whose previous and future sins have been forgiven. They come to me, and I go and seek permission from my Lord, and he gives me permission to do so. So if I see my Lord, I fall prostrate to him, and he leaves me as long as God wills. He will leave me, then I am told. Raise Muhammad and say, “He hears, and ask, and you will be granted him, and intercede, and you will be granted intercession, so I thank my Lord with Muhammad that He has taught me. Then I will intercede, and He will limit someone for me, so I will admit them to Paradise. Then I will return. So if I see my Lord, I will fall prostrating, and He will leave me as long as God wills. Then it will be said, Raise Muhammad and say, “He will hear, and ask, and you will grant him intercession.” I will intercede, so I will praise my Lord with Muhammad that my Lord has taught me. Then I will intercede, and He will limit someone for me, so I will admit them to Paradise. Then I will return, so if I saw my Lord, I would fall prostrating, and He will call me. God wills that He will leave me, then it will be said, “Raise Muhammad.” Say, “He will hear, and you will give him a question, and I will intercede, and you will intercede,” so I thank my Lord for the praises He taught me. Then I will intercede, and He will set a limit for me, so I will admit them to Paradise. Then I will return and say, “O Lord, there is nothing left in Hell except those whom the Qur’an has imprisoned and for whom eternity is obligatory.”

He who said: There is no god but God, and in his heart there was as much good as the weight of a barley. Then he who said: There is no god but God, and in his heart as much good as the weight of his righteousness. Then he who said, There is no god but God, and in whose heart there was as much good as an atom of goodness, will come out of the Fire.

Whoever follows the funeral of a Muslim out of faith and hope and is with him until the funeral prayer is performed over it and its burial is completed, he will return from the reward of two Qirats, each Qirat is equivalent to Uhud. And whoever prays over it and then returns before it is buried, he will return with a reward of two Qirats.

I came out to inform you of the Night of Decree, and that so-and-so and so-and-so sought it, and it was raised, and perhaps it will be good for you. Seek it on the seven, nine, and five days.
O Messenger of God, what is faith? He said, “Faith is that you believe in God, His angels, His messengers, and the meeting with Him, and believe in the next resurrection.” He said, “O Messenger of God, what is Islam?” He said, “Islam is that you worship God and do not associate anything with Him, perform prayer, pay the obligatory zakat, and fast during Ramadan.” He said, “O Messenger of God, what is ihsan?” He said, “Ihsan is that you worship God as if you were seeing Him when you did not see Him, for He sees you.” He said, “O Messenger of God, when is the hour?” He said, “Whoever is responsible for it knows best from the questioner, but I will tell you about its signs if the woman gives birth to her mistress.” That is one of its signs, and when the barefoot and naked people are the heads of the people, and in a narration, if the female slave gives birth to her master, and when the stupid camel herders strive to build tall buildings, then that is one of its signs, in five signs that no one knows except God. God has knowledge of the Hour, and He will send down rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. Then the man left and said, “Reply to me,” and they took a response for me, but they did not see anything, so he said, “This is Gabriel, who came to teach the people their religion.”
When the delegation of Abd al-Qays came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said, “Who is the people or from the delegation?” They said, “Rabi’ah.” He said, “Welcome to the people or the delegation,” without shame or regret. They said, “O Messenger of God, we are not able to come to you except in the sacred month, and between us and you is this neighborhood of the infidels of Mudar.” So we passed by the command of a separation that we would inform those behind us and enter Paradise with it. They asked him about drinks, so he ordered them to do four things and forbade them to do four things. He ordered them to believe in God alone. He said, “Do you know what belief in God alone is?” They said, “God and His Messenger know best.” He said, “The testimony that there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and establishing prayer, and paying zakat, and fasting during Ramadan, and that you should give one-fifth of the spoils.” He forbade four of them, about the camel, the tambourine, the horn, and the shrine. Perhaps Al-Muqair said, and he said, “Memorize them and tell them to those behind you.”
If a Muslim spends money on his family while expecting it, it is charity for him
The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to return to me in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage due to a severe pain, so I said, “I have come to my senses with pain, and I have money and no one inherits from me except his son. Should I give two-thirds of my money in charity?” He said, “No.” So I said half, and he said, “No.” Then he said, “A third, and a third is large or large. Indeed, it is better for you to leave your heirs rich than to leave them poor, begging people. You will not spend an expense seeking the pleasure of God except that you will be rewarded with it, even what you put in your wife’s mouth.” So I said O Messenger of God, leave my companions behind. He said, “You will not be succeeded by doing a good deed except that you will increase your rank and elevation. Then perhaps you will be succeeded so that some people will benefit from you and others will be harmed by you. Oh God, lead my companions astray by their emigration and do not turn them back on their heels.” In one narration, then he put his hand on his forehead, then wiped his hand on my face and stomach, then he said, “O God, heal Saad and complete his emigration. I still find his cold on my liver in what seems to me to this day, but the wretched Saad bin Khawla mourns for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he died in Mecca
Religion is sincere advice to God, His Messenger, the imams of Muslims, and their common people
I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the testimony that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and to establish prayer, and to pay zakat, and to listen and obey in a narration, so teach me as much as you can, and to advise every Muslim.
While the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was in a gathering speaking to the people, a Bedouin came to him and said, “When is the hour?” Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went on speaking. Some of the people said, “He heard what he said and thought about what he said.” Some of them said, “Rather, he did not listen until he finished his speech.” He said, “Where do I see him?” The questioner said about the Hour. He said, “Here I am, O Messenger of God.” He said, “If the trust is lost, then wait for the Hour.” He said, “How did you waste it?” He said, “If the matter is entrusted to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour.”
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was left behind on a journey. We traveled and we were exhausted by praying the afternoon prayer while performing ablution. He made us wipe our feet, then he called out at the top of his voice: “Woe to the heels from the Fire” two or three times.
Ibn Omar said: Then it occurred to me that it was the palm tree, and I saw Abu Bakr and Omar not speaking, so I hated to speak. When they did not say anything, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “It is the palm tree.” When we got up, I said to Omar, “O father, by God, it occurred to me that it was the palm tree.” He said, “What prevented you from speaking?” He said, “I did not see you speaking, so I hated to speak or say anything.” Omar said, “Because you said it, it is more beloved to me than such-and-such.”
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said: While we were sitting with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the mosque, a man came in on a camel, so he made him cry in the mosque, then he said to them, “Which of you is Muhammad, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is reclining between them?” We said, “This is the white man reclining.” The man said to him, Ibn Abd al-Muttalib. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him, “I have answered you.” The man said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “I am asking you.” He emphasized the issue, so do not find me in your mind. He said, “Ask about what you want,” and he said, “I will ask you.” By your Lord and by the Lord before you, oh God, he has sent you to all people. He said, Oh God, yes. He said, I implore you by God, oh, God has commanded you that we pray the five prayers a day and tonight. He said, oh God, yes. He said, I implore you by God, oh, God has commanded you that we fast this month of the year. He said, oh God, yes. He said, I implore you by God, oh, God has commanded you to take this charity from our rich and divide it among our poor. So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, oh God, yes. Then the man said, “I believe in what you brought, and I am a messenger from my people behind me.” I am Dammam bin Thalabah, brother of Banu Saad bin Bakr
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said, when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to write to the Romans, he was told that they do not read a book unless it is sealed, so he took a silver ring, and it was as if I was looking at the whiteness of it in his hand, and Muhammad, the Messenger of God, was engraved on it.
On the authority of Abu Waqid Al-Laithi, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw while he was sitting in the mosque and the people were with him, when three people approached, and two came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and one went and said, so they stood over the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Then one of them saw a gap in the circle and sat in it, and the other behind them, and the third turned around and was going. When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, finished, he said, “Should I not tell you about the three people?” As for one of them, he went to God. So God sheltered him, and as for the other, he was ashamed, so God was ashamed of him. As for the other, he turned away, so God turned away from him
Time has taken its shape on the day God created the heavens and the earth. The year is 12 months, of which four are sacred, three in succession, Dhul-Qa’dah, Dhul-Hijjah, and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar, which is between Jumada and Sha’ban. Which month is this? We said, “God and His Messenger know best.” So he was silent until we thought he would call it by another name. He said, “Isn’t it Dhu al-Hijjah?” We said, “Yes.” He said, “What country is this?” We said, “God and His Messenger know best,” so we remained silent until we thought he would call it by another name. He said, “Isn’t it the town?” We said, “Yes.” He said, “What day is this?” We said, “God and His Messenger know best,” and he remained silent until we thought he would call it by something other than its name. He said, “Isn’t it the Day of Sacrifice?” We said, “Yes.” He said, “Your blood, your wealth, and your honor are as sacred to you as this day of yours, in this country of yours, in this month of yours, and you will meet your Lord, and He will ask you about your deeds. Do not go back astray after me, striking the necks of one another, so that it may reach the absent witness, so perhaps some of those who reach it will be more aware of it than some of those who heard it.” Then he said, “Have I conveyed?” “Have I conveyed?”

And when God took a covenant from those who were given the Book that you will make it clear to the people and not conceal it
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to give us sermons during the days when it is disliked for us to be bored
Make it easy and do not make it difficult, give good tidings and do not repel
Whoever God wants good for, He will understand the religion, and God is the Giver and I am the Divider. This nation will continue to prevail over those who oppose them until God’s command comes and they will prevail.
There is no envy except in two cases: a man to whom God has given wealth, so he has the power to destroy it in the truth, and a man to whom God has given wisdom, so he judges it and teaches it.
Moses stood up as a preacher to the Children of Israel, and he was asked which of the people was more knowledgeable. He said, “I.” So God blamed him for not returning the knowledge to him. Then God revealed to him, “I have a servant in the assembly of the two seas who is more knowledgeable than you.” Moses said, “O my Lord, how can I have him?” He said, “You take a whale with you and put it in a cage. Wherever you lost the whale, it is.” Then he took a whale and placed it in a cage. Then he set off and went with him with his boy, Joshua bin Nun, until when he came to the rock, he laid down their heads, and they slept, and the whale was in the cage, so he came out of it. So he fell into the sea and took his way in the sea in a swarm, and God withheld the flow of water from the whale, so it became like a strand of water. When he woke up, his owner forgot to tell him about the whale, so he set off for the rest of their day and night until the next day. Moses said to his girl, “Bring us our lunch. We have met this monument from our journey.” He said, and Moses did not find the monument until he passed the place that God had commanded, so his boy said to him. He said to him, “What did you see when we took refuge in the rock? I forgot the whale, and no one but Satan made me forget to mention it.” And he took it. His path in the sea was a wonder. He said, so the whale had a swarm, and Moses and his two girls were a wonder. Moses said, “That is what we were seeking.” So he wore stories on their tracks. He said, “He returned and recounted their tracks until he came to the rock. He saw a man draped in a garment. Moses greeted him, and Al-Khidr said, ‘And peace be upon your land.’ He said, ‘I am Moses.’ Moses said to the children of Israel. He said, ‘Yes, I have come to you to teach me what you have learned.’” He said, “You will not be able to be patient with me.” In another narration, “Is it not enough for you that the Torah is in your hand and that the revelation is coming to you? O Moses, I am knowledgeable of the knowledge of God.” He taught me what you do not know, and you are aware of what God has taught you. God taught you what I do not know. Moses said, “You will find me, God willing, patient and I will not disobey you.” Al-Khidr said to him, “If you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I mention it to you.” So he set off walking me on the seashore, and a ship passed by. They told them to carry them, and they recognized Al-Khidr, so they carried them without a loom. When they got into the ship, he did not suddenly discover that Al-Khidr had taken off a plank from the ship’s planks, so Musa said to him, “People, carry us.” Without a loom, I went to their ship and tore it open to drown its people. I have come to something after another. He said, “Did I not say that you would not be able to be patient with me?”
He said, “Do not hold me accountable for what I have forgotten, and do not burden me with difficulty in my affairs.”
My knowledge and your knowledge of God’s knowledge are only like what this bird took from this sea
You killed a pure soul for another soul. You have done something reprehensible
If I ask you about something after that, do not accompany me, for I have received an excuse from you
This is a separation between you and me
We wished that Moses had been patient until God told us their news
Oh God, teach him the Book and teach him wisdom in the narration
I received from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, a mug in the face when I was five years old, from a bucket, and according to a narration, from a well that was in their house.
Such is the example of what God sent me with of guidance and knowledge. It is like the abundant rain that fell upon the land and it was pure. It received water and produced grass and abundant grass. And among it was barren trees that held water, so God benefited the people through them, so they drank, watered, and planted. Another group of them fell, but they were bottoms that did not hold water and did not produce pasture. That is like one who spends in the religion of God, and what God sent me with benefited him. He knew and knew, and like one who does not raise his head thereby and does not accept the guidance of God who I sent him with it
Among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge will increase, ignorance will increase, fornication will increase, alcohol drinking will increase, men will decrease and women will increase, until fifty women have one guardian.
I didn't feel it, so I shaved before slaughtering. He said: Sacrifice and there is no harm. Another came and said: I did not feel it, so I slaughtered myself before throwing the stone. He said: Throw away and there is no harm. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was never asked about anything before or after except that he said: Do it and there is no problem.
I visited before I threw. He said: There is no problem. He said: I shaved before I slaughtered. In one narration, he gestured with his hand and said: There is no problem. He said: I slaughtered before stoning. He said: There is no problem. In a narration, I threw stones after the evening, and he said: There is no harm.
The Hour will not come until two great factions fight each other and there will be great killers between them. Their claim is one, and until there are sent impostors, close to thirty liars, all of them claiming to be the Messenger of God, until knowledge is seized in a narration and ignorance appears, earthquakes increase, and time converges in a narration, work decreases, scarcity is encountered, temptations appear, and commotion increases, which is murder, and until wealth increases among you and it overflows, until the owner of the wealth worries who will accept his charity and until he offers it, and the one who offers it to him says, “I have no interest in it,” and until the people arrogantly build buildings, and until it passes. The man is in the grave of the man and says: Oh, I wish I were in his place, and until the sun rises from the west. If it rises and the people see it, meaning all of them have believed, that is when no soul will benefit whose faith has not previously believed or earned good in its faith. And the race will take place. The two men have spread their garment between them, so they do not pledge allegiance to it nor fold it. And the race will take place while the man has given up the milk of his impregnated animal, so he does not feed it. And the race will take place while he is licking his basin, so he will not be given water in it, and the race will take place. He raised his food to his mouth and did not feed it
I said: What is the matter with people? She pointed her head to the sky. In a narration: And when she was standing, she was praying. I said: What about the people? She pointed with her hand to the sky and said: Glory be to God. I said: A verse? She nodded, saying yes.
