0:27 So let us provide here the biographies of his two narrators, Ishaq and Idris,

1:27 'Ali ibn Musa al-Thaqafi,

1:29 his son Muhammad ibn Ishaq,

1:32 and Ibn Shanabudh.

1:34 He passed away, may Allah have mercy on him, in the year 286 AH.

1:48 I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.

2:25 “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. Thou (O Muhammad) seest them bowing and falling prostrate (in worship), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) acceptance. The mark of them is on their foreheads from the traces of prostration. Such is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel - like as sown corn that sendeth forth its shoot and strengtheneth it and riseth firm upon its stalk, delighting the sowers - that He may enrage the disbelievers with (the sight of) them. Allah hath promised, unto such of them as believe and do good works, forgiveness and immense reward.” (48:29)

3:49 He is Abu al-Hasan Idris ibn 'Abd al-Karim al-Haddad al-Baghdadi, the reciter.

3:57 He was a leading scholar, meticulous, masterful, and trustworthy.

4:58 He passed away, may Allah have mercy on him, on the day of 'Eid al-Adha

5:36 “On the day when ye behold it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling and every pregnant one will be delivered of her burden, and thou (Muhammad) wilt see mankind as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the Doom of Allah will be strong (upon them).” (22:2)
