0:14 regarding the virtue of calling to Allah.

0:20 The honor of this Ummah.

0:25 Praise be to Allah, who has made calling to Allah, the Almighty and Majestic,

0:30 the honor of this Ummah and its adornment among all nations.

0:33 It is the duty of the entire Ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

0:38 It is obligatory upon its men and its women,

0:42 its poor and its wealthy alike, especially

0:46 because calling the non-Muslim

0:48 is what solves the greatest problem:

0:51 the problem of atheism, polytheism in humanity, and injustice.

0:55 And if this problem is solved,

0:58 other problems will be solved with ease,

1:01 and peace will spread throughout humanity.

1:04 Allah the Almighty says:

1:06 “Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.” (3:110)

1:15 You enjoin what is right

1:18 and forbid what is wrong,

1:22 you enjoin what is right

1:25 and forbid what is wrong,

1:29 and you believe in Allah.

1:35 If you truly knew the virtue of the call and the caller in the sight of Allah,

1:40 and the high status that Allah, Glory be to Him and Exalted, has reserved for them,

1:45 and what He has prepared for them of reward and recompense,

1:48 and of honor, status, and elevation,

1:51 you would have abandoned the world and all that is in it,

1:54 and you would have rushed today, not tomorrow,

1:56 to this duty.

1:58 You would have regretted every breath you took

2:01 in anything other than calling to Allah.

2:05 For every breath and every drop of sweat that comes from you in anything other than the obedience of Allah

2:10 will emerge on the Day of Resurrection as a source of regret and remorse.

2:14 Because the few, trivial, numbered days of this world

2:18 are nothing in the reckoning compared to millions of years in the Hereafter,

2:23 in Paradise or in the Fire.

2:25 They are nothing compared to the bliss of Paradise,

2:28 which contains what no eye has seen,

2:31 nor ear has heard,

2:33 nor has it crossed the heart of any human.

2:37 The global average for the number of callers.

2:41 More than eight billion people.

2:44 How many callers do they need?

2:47 A United Nations report indicates

2:50 that the world population is expected to rise

2:54 from seven billion

2:55 to eight and a half billion people

3:00 by the year 2030 AD.

3:03 And that the world population

3:05 will grow at a rate of one billion people

3:08 over the next thirteen years,

3:11 and will reach ten billion people

3:14 by the year 2050 AD.

3:18 If the global average is

3:20 one doctor for every four hundred people,

3:24 or close to that,

3:26 and if we take the same ratio for every caller,

3:29 this means we need twenty million callers

3:33 by the year 2030 AD.

3:37 For the safety of bodies in this world

3:40 is not more important than the safety of bodies and souls

3:43 in this world and the Hereafter.

3:46 The virtue of the caller in the sight of Allah.

3:49 Because they spread goodness

3:51 and perform the mission of the prophets and messengers.

3:55 The callers were the best of this Ummah, absolutely.

3:59 And there is no speech better than their speech.

4:03 Allah the Almighty says:

4:05 "And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah

4:12 and does righteousness?"

4:15 “And who is better in speech than him who prayeth unto his Lord and doeth right, and saith: Lo! I am of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him).” (41:33)

4:21 And Allah the Almighty says:

4:23 “Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers.” (3:110)

4:32 You enjoin what is right

4:35 and forbid what is wrong,

4:40 you enjoin what is right

4:42 and forbid what is wrong,

4:46 and you believe in Allah.

4:52 And He also said:

4:54 "And it is those who are the successful."

4:57 Those are the ones upon whom Allah will have mercy.

5:00 And among their profitable trade

5:03 is that their reward is continuous

5:04 and their recompense is everlasting.

5:07 The Messenger, peace be upon him, said:

5:10 "Whoever calls to guidance

5:12 will have a reward similar to the rewards of those who follow him,

5:16 without it detracting from their rewards in the slightest."

5:19 Narrated by Muslim.

5:22 By Allah, we need not to let this blessing pass us by.

5:27 For Allah is the Supporter of His religion and does not need us.

5:30 On the authority of Tamim al-Dari, may Allah be pleased with him, he said:

5:34 The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

5:37 "This matter will certainly reach what the night and day reach,

5:41 and Allah will not leave a house of mud or fur

5:45 but that Allah will cause this religion to enter it."

5:49 Calling to Allah the Almighty

5:51 means calling to goodness, righteousness, and steadfastness upon the religion of the Creator,

5:57 who alone deserves worship.

6:00 For He is the Creator, the Provider, the Disposer of affairs, the Owner.

6:04 And the intent is

6:05 to call non-Muslims to Islam,

6:08 and to call Muslims who are disobedient, heedless,

6:12 or attached to others besides Allah,

6:15 to the obedience of Allah,

6:17 and to remind them of Allah's promise and His warning,

6:20 and His Paradise and His Fire,

6:22 and to spread the virtues and beauty of Islam and its values.

6:26 This duty is among the most noble and honorable of deeds,

6:30 due to the numerous merits and praiseworthy qualities it contains.

6:34 The virtue of calling to Allah is greater

6:37 and its reward is too immense to be mentioned or described in booklets, lectures, or courses.

6:44 But by way of reminder,

6:46 we will touch upon some of them.

6:49 So let us think and reflect upon the verses and hadiths regarding the virtue of the call,

6:55 as if we are hearing them for the first time.

6:59 The call is the mission of the prophets and messengers.

7:04 The great station of calling to Allah,

7:07 with which the messengers and prophets, peace be upon them, were honored.

7:11 Allah, Glory be to Him and Exalted, chose this Ummah from among all nations

7:17 and crowned it with the crown of the prophets,

7:19 which is calling to Allah.

7:22 The caller to Allah is a follower of Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus,

7:27 and Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon them.

7:31 He is a successor to them in conveying their message:

7:35 "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him."

7:39 And following their path.

7:41 This is a high rank

7:43 that deserves the sacrifice of the precious and the priceless to attain.

7:49 Allah the Almighty says:

7:51 “Say: This is my Way: I call on Allah with sure knowledge. I and whosoever followeth me - Glory be to Allah! - and I am not of the idolaters.” (12:108)

8:05 Al-Kalbi said:

8:07 It is a duty upon everyone who follows him, peace be upon him,

8:11 to call to what he called to.

8:15 Therefore, it is the best profession.

8:18 So, do you aspire to it?

8:20 Will you be employed in the greatest profession?

8:23 The decision is yours.

8:25 If you say yes, you have attained a great victory, by the permission of Allah.

8:30 So be patient and steadfast in it.

8:33 You have truly joined the ranks of the great.

8:37 It is the most honorable, magnificent, and excellent of the servant's stations.

8:42 It is the mission of the prophets and messengers,

8:45 as the Almighty said:

8:47 “And We sent no messenger before thee but We inspired him, (saying): There is no Allah save Me (Allah), so worship Me.” (21:25)

8:57 Sheikh al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, said in his *Tafsir*:

9:00 All the messengers who came before you, along with their scriptures,

9:04 the essence of their message and its foundation

9:07 was the command to worship Allah alone, with no partner,

9:11 and the clarification that He is the true God worthy of worship,

9:14 and that the worship of anything besides Him is false.

9:17 So there is no doubt that performing this mission

9:21 contains honor for the follower,

9:23 and that the call is to make the creation servants of the Creator

9:26 and to strengthen their relationship with Him.

9:29 This is among the best and most honorable of deeds.

9:32 And was the mission of the messengers anything other than that?

9:37 So what is your share, O virtuous brother,

9:40 O virtuous sister,

9:42 of the inheritance of prophethood?

9:44 What have you offered for your religion?

9:47 Congratulations to the one whose life

9:49 was spent in fulfilling the divine intent.
