The Lord, Glorified and Exalted be He, says:

“There is no good in much of their secret conferences save (in) him who enjoineth almsgiving and kindness and peace-making among the people. Whoso doeth that, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall bestow on him a vast reward.” (4:114)

Maintaining the correct intention,

purifying it from impurities and the desires of the self,

and seeking fame or praise.

We must equip ourselves with sacred knowledge, skills, and practice.

The caller must be a good example to people

in their conduct, their inner self, and their outward appearance.

Patience in the path of calling to Allah.

Among the requirements of patience

is not to find the path too long or to be hasty for results.

Not to take any reward for one's call

except what one hopes for from one's Lord.

Doubts that hinder the call.

Some may abandon the call due to a lack of response.

There is no doubt that the prophets and messengers were the most perfect of people in the aspect of calling to Allah,

for it is the primary mission for which Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, sent them.

they faced from their people what they faced of rejection and stubbornness,

to the point that some of them had no one believe in them,

as the Chosen One, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, informed us:

"The nations were presented to me,

and I saw a prophet and two prophets passing by with a group of followers,

and a prophet with no one with him."

So guidance is in the hand of Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He,

as in His saying:

“The guiding of them is not thy duty (O Muhammad), but Allah guideth whom He will. And whatsoever good thing ye spend, it is for yourselves, when ye spend not save in search of Allah's Countenance; and whatsoever good thing ye spend, it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged.” (2:272)

Rather, there are other fruits that are realized even if they do not convert:
