The enduring good deeds.
0:04
The righteous deeds that endure.
0:08
The reward for voluntary prayer.
0:12
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
0:15
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:
0:20
"Indeed, the first of the people's deeds for which they will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection
0:26
is the prayer.
0:27
He said:
0:28
Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, will say to His angels—though He knows best:
0:33
'Look into the prayer of My servant: did he perform it complete, or was it deficient?'
0:39
If it was complete, it will be recorded for him as complete.
0:43
But if it was lacking in any way,
0:46
He will say:
0:47
'Look, does My servant have any voluntary prayers?'
0:51
If he has voluntary prayers,
0:53
He will say:
0:54
'Complete My servant's obligatory prayer from his voluntary prayers.'
0:58
Then the rest of his deeds will be taken in like manner."
1:02
Narrated by Abu Dawud.
