The Enduring Righteous Deeds:
0:08
The Reward for Congregational Prayer
0:12
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him),
0:15
from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said:
0:19
"A man's prayer offered in congregation
0:21
is multiplied twenty-five times over his prayer offered in his house or in his market.
0:28
That is because when he performs ablution and does so thoroughly, then leaves for the mosque solely to perform the prayer,
0:36
he does not take a single step except that he is raised a degree in rank thereby, and a sin is removed from him because of it.
0:43
Then, once he prays, the angels continue to supplicate for him as long as he remains in his place of prayer, saying:
0:50
'O Allah, send blessings upon him; O Allah, have mercy upon him.'
0:54
And one of you remains in a state of prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer."

Narrated by al-Bukhari.
